Just last night, I prayed for God to help me understand "saved by faith" more fully. Listening to folks like Spurgeon often makes me feel like I'm not progressing enough to be really saved. Your video was such perfect timing. I cling to this message!
Amen Pastor Brian. We have no control over this so called 'losing' our salvation. Once we are saved we are always saved. Because of the promise Jesus gave us, period. He will never go back on his promise(s) to us ever. Thnx B2 God~! Every time I think of my salvation I cry tears of happiness. :) Love, & Blessings to you in Jesus Holy Name. :)
Amen! Jesus said, “IN NO WISE” will He cast any out who have come to Him. That means that once we’re born of God, even if we are swayed into unbelief by the crafty lies of Satan, Jesus will not cast us out.
This is a great teaching. I have been wondering what to do as a bible study. This hit me to do this subject, with the verses you gave. I sometimes struggle, and this is perfect. Thank You, Pastor, you are such a blessing.....Sincerely
I think I was a false convert most of my life. I never swore or drank, etc, which I thought was being a good Christian. I really thought I had it all together. When reading the Bible, I'd notice things OTHERS needed to do, and I got a lot out of knowing intellectual things about God's word. I was never convicted of anything I needed to improve, but I'd shed many tears when my favourite songs were sung in church. Then I was deeply tempted to read and write erotic fiction, but because it clashed with God's law, I convinced myself that worldly scientists can't be wrong, and thus God doesn't really exist. For 4 years, I called myself an atheist, and I fell down a hole of sins. One day I saw a video about the Mark of the Beast technology, and my heart bashed against my ribs. Surely prophecy couldn't be really happening! After a little digging, I realised I'd made a big mistake, and my sorrow and regret was intense. That was 2012, and the Lord has done so much in my life and my heart since then! Whether or not I was saved as a little girl who loved Jesus in Sunday school, or not, I will find out in heaven (perhaps). xoxo
How much fruit did the theif on the Cross do before he died ? Guarantee he is in Heaven . Not everyone will produce thousands of fruit like many good Pastors /teachers but I know for a fact the Angel's Celibate the 1 , 3 , 7 fruits as much as they celebrate the thousands. Do not falter now, we are so close to going home , if your homebound and can not lead someone to heaven then PRAY , Prayer is mighty and ever so needed. Pray , Praise and give thanks . I love you family
Dear brother, what is my lesson God's taught me when I learn of a new prayer request? 2 things: Luke 18: the parable of the persistent widow and "Lord remove more wood, hay and stubble from my life and replace it with more gold, in order for the Effectual fervent prayers of a righteous man to avail much!" (James 5:16)
@@sandratagaban5541 Hi Sandra, No ma’am, I’m not a Calvinist. I do believe that the Scriptures teach both the sovereignty election of God, but also that God gives man the legitimate responsibility to respond or reject. As to how these two ideas peacefully coexist, I don’t know, but I just have to be comfortable being uncomfortable on this subject Thanks!
This is a whole half an hour of somebody that cannot rightly divide the word of God. That is talking about people that remain a part of the vine that is somebody that can rightly divide the word of God. Someone that is living according to the word of God. This isn't talking about somebody out here that professes to be of God while they're out here living a wicked life. And you're using the same scriptures that the majority of people that preached once saved. And you want to know why pastors are out your committing adultery in the church.
It does have something to do with what you're doing in your life showing who you're actually serving out here. The Bible is full of human effort of you and I. Denying self is human effort dying to self is human effort fighting the temptation of sin is human effort crucifying the flesh is human effort forsaking your ways is human effort. Can I take credit for doing these things. Not when actually it's the grace of God that saves. Is there eternal security no there's no such thing. Can you live for God and turn away from him? Yes you can. And you've also been told not to grieve the holy Spirit. Was that just a do as you please?
" The only thing we contribute to our salvation is our sin." Thank you Pastor. I needed this.
Amen, we are saved by grace.
@@landonstenersen3401 AMEN!

Fantastic word as always ☺️
Is eternal damnation a thing? Yes? Then so is eternal salvation.

Are you a Calvinist? What are your views on TULIP?
