We sent California's very own bar-ride master Mike 'Hucker' Clark on an adventure to Ecuador to go to the home of the seriously underrated wild stallion that is Jonathan Camacho (a rider we first featured in DIG 96 back in October 2013). Hucker witnessed Jonathan's savagery first hand on the streets, trails and parks of his local stomping grounds, and even got to taste some home-cooked Iguana.

What an incredible rider Jonathan is. For as little as he has to be that good is amazing! He reminds me of myself when I used to ride I had to use what was available. Also I worked just so I could afford my bike, and replace parts when I broke them. I really hope to see him competing in the next X-Games.

I recall working for all my bikes to ride flatland and street. I became a Florida State champion though I was only sponcered by MCS , back then MCS did not pay for much but bikes and local and state competition.
The MCS team was picked up by GT but I could not go as I had to focus on college. MCS still has a race team but not freestyle as they stopped making freestyle bikes. But he for sure should get a local bike shop sponcership as that is how most of us started out then offers will get bigger. He for sure deserves a sponcership. That is my advise to him. Once on a local team, enter a few major competition placing and send the results and videos to the major companies. He deserves it, no question about it!

This is dope, kid growing up and making his way to buy a bmx bike at very young age which you dont see in US and now he is traveling to ride, he is sick and needs more sponsers. He doing tricks and combos i like doing just to be insane on days you want to be. Dont stop what you love doing because that will take you somewhere along the way.
