Been at Summer Games Fest, so we haven't had a chance to play and finish the final mission now that the Raid has been beaten. Will do that tomorrow and post that video, as well as update the game movie!
Damn that ending got everyone pumped up for fighting the witness in the raid.

To be honest I felt like they could’ve done more than make the witness bigger; like imagine if their head began to split into multiple dark heads within a cloud of smoke looking down at us menacingly, and every time we destroyed a statue one of the heads would disappear. That would’ve would’ve been really awesome 🤩
Lets go now to turn the Witness into a weapon 🎉

It was so fun to have npc allies actually show up and help for once. I was prepared for 3 full phases but it was honestly a nice relief to have the vanguard show up and cover for you so that you can finish the fight

The actual ending hasn’t been released yet we have to wait until Saturday after the world first raid race this Friday against the witness then on Saturday there will be the last mission where one last fight happens but we have to wait until Saturday

That was what this campaign was meant to do, and failed horribly. This needed the witch queen reveals we been asking for instead we fight a raid then some bs exposition final level. How anyone has given praise to a campaign with seasonal dlc cutscenes is a joke, they couldn't even be bothered to animate caydes explanation and then mara just talks bs over the same type panel again. How tf did this community get this complacent

@@brutality5683 the unveiling lore book literally explains the gardeners association with the light, a lore book literally explained that the traveler spoke to the speaker through dreams and it even warned him about the red war bit he didn't say anything because he didn't want to cause mass panic, hell in the unveiling it states that the gardeners role is to bring life

The Raid will probably be the end of the Saga
we have to wait 2 days for the raid to come out, then after world's first completion we unlock a 8th and final mission.

The witness is still alive but wounded, those wounds suits better him than his calm face and seeing the witness mad, make me laugh a lot he was offering us being his disciple that means he is afraid of us, he is terrified of us lets continue guys, make him tremble in fear ☺️☺️☺️☺️

And savthon the witch queen will always imo be the best
the witch queen was the best one of destiny 2 but the best one of all time was the taken king

11:35 gave me chills the first time I heard it. That moment was actually terrifying.
Something I never liked is when our Ghost effectively speaks FOR us. Their personality can come off as sanctimonious or holier than thou instead of defiant, heroic or even sarcastic. Granted part of this opinion is based on the fact that I simply don't like the VA chosen for our Ghost. Not that the actual performer is bad or anything, I just enjoy the delivery/voice chosen.
Now if we given a Cortana, Sagira or Targe like voice? I would have no complaints in all likelihood. If a D3 happens, I really hope for a different VA for the ghost.

He's (most likely) not alive, he doesn't have the light anymore, it's basically just a projection of him. Remember, he was wished on an ahamkara, he is probably going away when crow is officially named the new hunter vanguard

We are definitely going to be using swords to damage the hands of the witness so we can get to a damage phase. Speaking of swords doesn’t that sword at the end of the cutscene remind you of the same sword at our guardians grave ?

I get how people were unimpressed by the fight but let me explain it like this.
The witness is trying to enact the final shape,tempting everyone and cutting the dissenters out. And it literally put a fraction of its power to fight us specifically,of course we'll be able to actually stand a chance. Not only that due to learning prismatic we are now WAY stronger then we were before,which was why we were offered to be a diciple. If things were different we wouldn't have that offer tempting us.
The final shape is 10 years in the making of story potential and writing and yall just try to find problems with it? Smh. Wether we die or stand triumphant after we lay the dissenting souls of the witness to rest,Salvations Edge is upon us and we make our own fate.

I can tell you’re a tad slow, it’s definitely the corridors sword as it shares the exact same model.

Like in the Taken King DLC of Destiny 1, Oryx escapes in the story mission, but everyone in the tower believed escaping means death. They were on cocaine, except Eris. Eris asks you to go after Oryx in the Raid to finally end him.
Here, in the story mission you retreat to come back to kill the Witness in the Raid.
however it didn't die in the raid, it's dead after the final mission

Bro my guardian drops the shield every time I fight the witness even if I’m on the light
So the witness is able to instantly kill 3 guardians and their ghosts with the flick of a finger but can't kill one guy, as well as being too weak to kill 2 lightless people in that ending cutscene? This is the least intimidating "final enemy" of anything ever. Can't believe we had 10 years of buildup for this.
I don't know what you were expecting they have to make the witness at least fightable if it was lore accurate this game would not exist 😂
And a good excuse for the reason why we didn't get instantly sliced is we are stronger than those three guardians. We're using prismatic rear bending the laws of how these Powers work you saw how the witness tried to recruit us it's obviously scared

I'm more upset that the escape scene where the vanguard are running was so much cooler than ours. We just held a shield and blocked debree while the witness was shape shifting the entire area trying to capture them. Leave it to Bungie to skimp out on the technical aspects.
