Hi Danny, years ago the Nordic Buffet was called Custy's Buffet. There was an incident when the wrestlers, Andre the Giant and Toro Tanaka visited and ate 40 lobsters each. That's the reason for the 2hr limit. They were asked to leave.

A perfect and utterly entertaining review. And I love your choice in b-roll music. Too many RUclipsrs play the worst, annoying music...I'm talking to you, UA Eats.
Was at the Nordic a few years ago when it was about $115. Considering our ridiculous inflation, it hasn't gone up much. A 2½ pound lobster at The Palm in Manhattan over $100 with a side.
When I was there I had 4 lobsters, 18 oysters, the colossal shrimp, a thicker piece of rare Prime Rib, mushrooms, and a cup of clam chowder. I didn't bother with any of the fried foods, sides or desserts. I was stuffed.
The grounds and lake are magnificent. I put on my headphones, closed my eyes and listened to music. Then I walked 15,000 steps around the grounds in a futile attempt to walk-off my gluttony.
The Nordic isn't a buffet, it's a fun excursion and experience. The only thing better than the food is the staff and management. I live in Manhattan and it took me less than three hours to drive there. Then I headed up to Fenway Park for a ballgame. Perfect!

For those trying to keep track, it was: 3 bacon wrapped scallops, 2 snow crab cluster, 2 tenderloin steak, 1 slice prime rib, 1 stuffed mushroom, 5 fried scallops, 3 fried shrimp, 3 peel and eat shrimp, 2 lobster fritter, 6 shucked oysters, sautéed garlic mushrooms, chocolate dipped strawberries and cherries, 1 cannoli, watermelon, fig, rambutan and lychee fruit. Oh and 9 whole lobsters.
When Danny says he's a cheap S.O.B., he doesn't mean low quality or small quantity. He means getting his money's worth.

Does anyone know how to use a KNIFE and fork when eating lobster. You don’t bite part of the tail off your fork like a savage.
