- A jobless mother is urging authorities to reach out to ensure her natural soap startup can bubble over into profitability.
Cantonement resident Martha Justin says she has toiled endlessly on her cottage industry but believes guidance from state bodies could boost opportunities.
Dont give up my lady,God is good
I will definitely support you! I don’t live in St. Lucian, but when I came home I will look for you. Never give up keep up the good work.👍👍
Don't give up madam! God will open up the right door for you. Just trust in Him. Commit everything in His hands. Work and trust in Him. Start to give Him thanks and praise. You will see great miracles for you.
Keep praying sister.
She should reach out to Helen's daughters and raise your voice st.lucia
First pray 🙏, second make the 🧼 soap smaller with different shapes sizes and colors to make it more attractive to potential customers, label 🏷 it for packaging create a brand name so it becomes a marketable item. Talk to local supermarkets see if you cold sell some to them wholesale advertising through word of mouth ,put posters at some 🚌 bustops so people know you and your products.thats just some suggestions to get established, it's never easy but hang in there you can make it ,keep trying. Lucian watching from abroad,🙌🙏
Sorry to hesr of your set back.
Happy to see you trying to do something for yourself, that's admirable.
My advice to you would be to try better packaging for soaps so they can be gifted. It doesn't have to be anything expensive you have lots of simple natural products in St. Lucia. Another would be to reach out to some of the local stores, hotels & bed & breakfasts. You may need to list some of your ingredients because some people have skin allergies. I also make soaps but don't live in St.Lucia.
Simple creative packaging & size could help boost your sales. Pls don't give up! You certainly need to get your product out there. If I were you I would hold off on making more soaps for the time being & concentrate on getting rid of what you have until your sales improve.
Also try utilizing some of your local media outlets whether be Tik Tok etc.
Best of luck!
That's a good business. I would suggest cutting the soaps into smaller pieces, and maybe someone can help her to come up with a brand and a small label with the ingredients to stick on each bar.
The state supposed help small businesses that's how u grow an economy.......the state must also stop or decrease imported product tgatcwe here in st Lucia can produce.....
