Art and Sustainability: a fashion phenomena | Nouran Elbannan | TEDxYouth@ABIS

Fast fashion market has been on the rise for the past decade and has become a source of enviable growth for some clothing companies. By compressing production cycles and turning out up-to-the-minute designs, these businesses resulted in shoppers buying more and using less at the cost of chaos behind the scenes. Nouran sheds light on important matters such as fast fashion and its effect on both us and the environment. Nouran doesn't stop there, she proceeds to address our position in this corrupted cycle and how we can contribute towards ending it.
Nouran is a thrift-shopper who cares about sustainability and encourages people to save second hand clothes by painting on them and sharing with people through her social media platforms.
