Now you know that there was a man named James Horner and his music inspired us... in every way an audience can be inspired. He now exists only in our Memories..
listen to this song while you're at your window one day and gaze into the sky. You see many memories, moments and emotions pass by that you really really loved and miss so much. Even more you think about the stories other people have lived and the moments of how great and romantic their life and love must of been. This is life, everyone comes and lives their own story, some create a legacy a story that will never be forgotten and some go never being known.
"Winning that ticket, Rose, was the best thing that ever happened to me... it brought me to you. And I'm thankful for that, Rose. I'm thankful. You must do me this honor, Rose. Promise me you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise."
Lots of people don't realise it, but this is not just a love story, this is a story about how a suicidal weak girl became a confident and strong woman because of love of her life. Jack taught Rose to love herself and move on.....
Not to mention how a suicidal weak girl became a woman by leaving a toxic culture behind. Jack gave her the boost necessary to abandon an exploitative group of people and be her own person. Rose did more than live for him. She became herself in a full life that was hers, not that of Philadelphia society.
That's why Rose says, at the end of the movie, that "He saved me, in all the ways a person can be saved." That is: he not just saved her physically, but mentally too.
Don't lose hope. The most beautiful moments are yet to happen in your life and I will pray for your well being. I care for you from another part of the world.
I met my jack today. He waited for me for 8 years and finally I am with him. I can feel his love every single moment. Oh how beautiful the world is and how melancholic as well!
Its a copied comment, but beautiful...and we must share beautiful. In the final scene, Rose throws away the diamond (known as the Heart of the Ocean) into the ocean because thats where it belongs with the rest of the titanic. Its also a metaphor representing the fact that 84 years ago she let go of the biggest part of her heart(Jack) and so now she lets go of that piece of her heart to him. In the end she passes away in her sleep warm in bed just like she promised Jack. Also added is the fact that she dies exactly where Jack and all other passengers of the titanic did, therefore finally giving in to her fate of dying with him. In the final vision, after Rose has passed she reunites with all the others who had passed this time without any division between rich and poor symbolizing that all are equals in death. The clock behind Jack reads the time 2:20am which was the exact time the Titanic sank completely into the ocean. When you understand the significance of such minute details it just makes everything so much more special
I was visiting tram museum with my crush. We were able to enter a old tram from 1919 and I sat on the driver's seat. I was inspired my this scene and asked her: "Where should we travel to?" and she said "to the heaven and beyond." And we're still meeting each other.
Exactly. That's what I came for. I heard it in the movie and just couldn't forget about it. It sounds like 'my heart will go on', but slightly different. More sentimental.
+TheColinChapman seriously, one of my favorite parts of the movie. It's so intimate between the two of them and still the child in both of them with this young love is afire.
I think Rose' s future was foreshadowed when Rose was flipping through Jack's drawings and he talked about an old lady who would wear her jewelry waiting for her true love to come back. This movie is so beautiful. The characters' journeys, the romance, the acting, the music, the cinematography, the sets, everything. I wish we had more movies like this.
"Can I take your name please, love?" "Dawson. Rose Dawson." "We never found anything on Jack. There is no record of him at all." "No, there wouldn't be would there. I mean I love waking up in the morning not knowing what's gonna happen, or who I'm gonna meet, where I'm gonna wind up. I figure life's a gift, and I don't intend on wasting it. You never know what hand you're gonna get to hold next. You learn to take life as it comes at you. To make each day count.

+Nadiah Ainsworth that was the best description of the movie..i also cry everytime it annoys me sometimes :P I've seen it like 100 times and every time feels like the first..
She was my first love, after, my best friend. She was an incredible pianist, this was the first song I saw her play, she dedicated it to me. I remember falling on my knees and crying inevitably at such beauty. September 8 will be ten years since her death, and not a day of my life will pass that I do not remember her and cry every time I hear this beautiful song. I love you Olivia, wherever you are... And I will love you forever.
and the saddest part about this line is he said he while he was freezing to death floating while holding rose's hand he didn't care that he was going to die he was just glad her met her and taught her how to live
A tale of Rose In 1912 She set set sail on board the ship of dreams Or so she thought So it seems Engaged to be wed Twas the one thing she dread Her heart was set on the man who rescued her Jack was his name Her life was changed And was never the same She was rich Yet he was poor Thoughts raced through her mind Like days of yore Then came the fateful night When the nightmares came to life Jack got falsely condemned For a crime he never committed But Rose knew what went on Her soon to be ex fiance was behind the plot This woke her up Quite alot She saved Jack from being cuffed to the pipe They raced to safety Before the ship went out of sight In the frigid waters did they tread Rose would survive But jack was dead She made a promise to him so That she'd not give up She would not let go Rescued by the Carpathia Mourning the loss of her beloved jack When asked for her last name The last name she said was unknown by some "Dawson" she said "Rose Dawson" As an elderly woman She told the tale And it was her end But both her and jack reunited As well as the others Up in heaven Edit: whoever liked this...thank you
"And now you know there was a man named Jack Dawson. He saved me in every way that a person can be saved. I don't even have a picture of him, he only exists in my memory"
sad 1500 people went into the sea when Titanic sank from under us 6 were saved from the water myself included 6 out of 1500 newhile the 700 people in the boat had nothing to.do.but wait wait to die wait to live wait for an absolution that would never come
Everytime I watch this movie I can't avoid from crying in the end. This movie really touches you in every way possible. James Horner's music gives me real goosebumps! :(
When Rose dies after she threw the Heart of the Ocean away, she finally reunites with Jack and everyone who died on the Titanic. Love is always there. Even after the death. It’s the strongest power to ever exist.
I said that about my fiance.... He saved my life from self destruction after a abusive marriage ...he came in when I least expecting it.. Its been 5 years since we met...and I tell him that's what I'm going to tell people about him
There was a girl I knew in highschool who was full blooded Irish and her name was rose......her and I had a short relationship....it only lasted a month.....but she was beautiful

I may not have someone I loved, but the love I have for this movie and the memories I have of it are more precious than anything else to me, and this soundtrack never fails to make me cry because of it
i am 31 years old. in 1997 or 1998 i first saw the film when i was at school. with the years i grew older, i have often watched it on tv and dvd. always crying at the end. this spring i watched it in cinema. i swear, i was crying from 1st second until the end. i know every scene of the film, i know how it ends. but still i was crying. watching in cinema was is so much more powerful than watching on tv. when first watching it as a child i didn't understood everything. nowadays i know about the true story, that it really happened. the people named in the film have really existed. god this makes me so sad, so crying.
Everything Legends of the fall should have been. About two people in love. Not a mockery of love where a man just marries a child who grew up while trading his real love in. Nothing about free spirits in that junk movie either. Jack and rose were free spirits who fought the dumb medieval society they lived in which promoted big age gaps, marriages of convenience etc. This movie is just so amazing. The music, cast and scenery was amazing. It was a tragedy too, but didn't involve intentionally paining others. Thank you James Horner for complimenting the film with your amazing music. This was real love. We truly need more films like Titanic, Notebook, last of the mohicans and braveheart.
Yes I like the soundtrack a lot. Hated the movie for what it promoted. Ditching the free spirit (which rose and especially jack was!!!) and marrying a child on return!! Contradictory characters and not about love at all. Just promoting a total tool of a character. Trading true love in. It was such a dumb story! The soundtrack should have been saved for a much more worthy film. It would have been nice if it had maybe been added to titanic! Or a river runs through it.
Hmmm everyone - it does seem horner stole the stargate music for troy. And there are other pieces he took music from also. This is a good peice but just to let you know.
@@fionaredican2249 Just saw your rendition of My Heart Will Go On and I loved it. I love that song but I don't think I could sing that song as good as you.
October 15, 2023. It’s Sunday night and my kids and I just finished watching titanic. Currently crying to this and cleaning before going to bed. We miss you Dyliona.💙😭
"There were twenty boats floating nearby and only one came back... one... six were saved from the water myself included.... six... out fifteen hundred... afterward... the seven hundred people in the boats had nothing do to but wait.... wait to die... wait to live... wait for an absolution... that would never come." This made me feel really sad ;(
I hate that no one knows that when she said that, it was a reference to the song he sings to her. Not that she actually believed she was flying but he made her feel like she was.
It's the saddest thing ever when someone you truly love passes away. And then he only exists in your memory... Rose must've felt really horrible. As he said that she would have grandchildren and die as an old lady ,he surely looked down at her and smiled from above for as happy he is ,cause she kept the promise.
"It's been.. 84 years.." "It's okay rose try and remember as much as you can" "Do you want to hear this or not mister luvit?" "It's been 84 years... And I can still smell the fresh paint.."
It was the first movie I watched with my father as a child and cried together.Since then,I still listen, especially when night falls, remembering all my loved ones who died looking at the stars.I know they see us...Some melodies appeal to the deep emotions we accumulate within us...
This is a story about Rose. At the beginning she was a weak lady who agrees to do what her mom and her fiance says. She was forced to be a perfect girl in every way possible. She was kind of suffocating silently. A new phrase of her life began when Jack entered her life at a very odd time when she was least expecting. Jack saw her suffocating between the rich and also saw the fire inside her which was fading day by day. So he decided to not let that fire extinguish and so he gave her some very beautiful experiences that she never had had before. At the end she finally acquired the courage inside her and decided to be herself. To be a young independent women who is away from the pressure to be "perfect". Finally Jack's work has completed and so he had to leave. Actually this is a story of a weak girl and her journey to be a strong woman which was picturised as a love story.
“A woman’s heart is an ocean of secrets” "I don't even have a picture of him. He exists now... only in my memory." You are not human if you don't feel a pain in your chest.
I confess. I choke up and cry during that scene. Especially because she realizes Jack Dawson is dead and I realize that Jack Dawson is never coming back. He's gone forever 😭😭💔💔
I cried at the part when a woman was telling her children a story while the ship was sinking. I almost cried at the part when Rose realized that Jack died 💔😔
To all Roses and Jacks, God bless you, with all the force and power the universe has, be love protected, and live beyond the time itself, for eternity.
Titanic movie was first showed on theaters the year that I was born. But still remember the first time I watched that I'm just 3-4years old. And I'm 17 now, but still Love that movie. Just Sharing. :))
I can't read Music, I have never been able to. But if I listen to a song often enough I can learn it by ear. This was the first song I ever played. I was 12 years old at the time and in my Year 7 Music class when the teacher left the room and everyone was messing about, I decided to experiment. I played a few keys and then decided to play what I had heard. Everybody stopped but I just kept playing, my music teacher walked in and asked me where my sheet was and I said "nowhere I can't read music, but I have heard this song several times, this is my first time playing it" I had bad social anxiety at the time, I was being bullied, I struggled to fit in but this song? This song saved me. I gained friends after playing this. Still can't read music to this day but this song plays on in my mind and if I ever get to play piano again, I will see if I can still play it.

I may not know what true love feels like, but I just hope that one day I, like Rose, have the courage to seize it.

Titanic, is still the best movie ever been created. And NO ONE than Leonardo and Kate could ever play jack and Rose. It is such perfect!
Winning that ticket, Rose is the best thing that ever happened to me... It brought me to you... And I'm thankful for that Rose... Thankful
"Jack I want you to draw me like one of your French girls. Wearing this"

i believe that if he had a do over knowing his fate aboard the titanic, he would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
and the saddest part about this line is he said he while he was freezing to death floating while holding rose's hand he didn't care that he was going to die he was just glad her met her and taught her how to live
🎉🎉😂
A tale of Rose
In 1912
She set set sail on board the ship of dreams
Or so she thought
So it seems
Engaged to be wed
Twas the one thing she dread
Her heart was set on the man who rescued her
Jack was his name
Her life was changed
And was never the same
She was rich
Yet he was poor
Thoughts raced through her mind
Like days of yore
Then came the fateful night
When the nightmares came to life
Jack got falsely condemned
For a crime he never committed
But Rose knew what went on
Her soon to be ex fiance was behind the plot
This woke her up
Quite alot
She saved Jack from being cuffed to the pipe
They raced to safety
Before the ship went out of sight
In the frigid waters did they tread
Rose would survive
But jack was dead
She made a promise to him so
That she'd not give up
She would not let go
Rescued by the Carpathia
Mourning the loss of her beloved jack
When asked for her last name
The last name she said was unknown by some
"Dawson" she said
"Rose Dawson"
As an elderly woman
She told the tale
And it was her end
But both her and jack reunited
As well as the others
Up in heaven

When Rose dies after she threw the Heart of the Ocean away, she finally reunites with Jack and everyone who died on the Titanic. Love is always there. Even after the death. It’s the strongest power to ever exist.

Listen to this song while you're at your window and gaze into the sky. You see many memories, moments and emotions pass by that you really really loved and miss so much. Even more you think about the stories other people have lived and the moments of how great and romantic their life and love must of been. This is life, everyone comes and lives their own story, some create a legacy a story that will be never be forgotton and some go never being known.

with the years i grew older, i have often watched it on tv and dvd.
always crying at the end.
this spring i watched it in cinema. i swear, i was crying from 1st second until the end.
i know every scene of the film, i know how it ends. but still i was crying. watching in cinema was is so much more powerful than watching on tv.
when first watching it as a child i didn't understood everything.
nowadays i know about the true story, that it really happened. the people named in the film have really existed. god this makes me so sad, so crying.

+Coco Pops AGREE TO ALL!
+Coco Pops Well said. BTW the Legends of the Fall score is totally amazing as well. I totally love that score extremely well. Horner was a genius.

Hello RMS Aquitania
Two goat boates
A woman of the ocshn secrets
Rose wasn't weak; she was trapped.

Everybody stopped but I just kept playing, my music teacher walked in and asked me where my sheet was and I said "nowhere I can't read music, but I have heard this song several times, this is my first time playing it"
I had bad social anxiety at the time, I was being bullied, I struggled to fit in but this song? This song saved me. I gained friends after playing this. Still can't read music to this day but this song plays on in my mind and if I ever get to play piano again, I will see if I can still play it.
