The OM-42, OOOC Pegasus (Steve Miller model) and the OMJM (John Mayer model) are my top favorite sounding Martin guitars. This OM-42 sounds incredible. I hope to own one someday.

Don't they usually have the teardrop pickguard?

Holy crap, the volume coming out of that little guitar- what a cannon! Tone to die for.
Yes, it’s almost 5Gs, but it’s a Martin, and a great-sounding one at that; guitar purchases of this quality (and price bracket) are investments that will only appreciate over time.
    Worth every penny.

000 and OM are the same guitar bodies and features, except the only difference is the scale length from the bridge to the nut.

@@jhustler1992 Yes, and that pickguard is usually on the 000. The OM usually has the teardrop. It’s the easiest way to tell them apart at a glance.

😂😂😂...and the bigger pickguard takes all the vibrations away from the top wood. You hear it at the moment he strums😂😂😂😂Just joking. I own a OM-42. It's not nasal at all. 🌹🇩🇰
