The OM-42, OOOC Pegasus (Steve Miller model) and the OMJM (John Mayer model) are my top favorite sounding Martin guitars. This OM-42 sounds incredible. I hope to own one someday.
It's practically new.how can't I not love this one.in the old days they used actual ivory and shell for the trim.these are beauties.always a top favorite of Martin Guitars
Holy crap, the volume coming out of that little guitar- what a cannon! Tone to die for. Yes, it’s almost 5Gs, but it’s a Martin, and a great-sounding one at that; guitar purchases of this quality (and price bracket) are investments that will only appreciate over time. Worth every penny.
😂😂😂...and the bigger pickguard takes all the vibrations away from the top wood. You hear it at the moment he strums😂😂😂😂Just joking. I own a OM-42. It's not nasal at all. 🌹🇩🇰

Lovely instrument.Your playing is wonderful. Thank you for sharing
Bought the Sigma replica and even this is a great looking and sounding piece of wood.
Man this is a beauty... I’m a Gibson guy but this makes me question everything hahaha
it looks like it has a 000 pick guard on it.
It is. Very strange.....
@@youroldshopteacher1691 Ditto that. OM-42s has a teardrop pickguard.
000 and OM are the same guitar bodies and features, except the only difference is the scale length from the bridge to the nut.
@@jhustler1992 Yes, and that pickguard is usually on the 000. The OM usually has the teardrop. It’s the easiest way to tell them apart at a glance.
I was wondering about it too🤔
Beautiful guitar buuuut be ready to hand over a shit load of cash for it
sounds nasal without rio
