Huge credit to Zach Orr and the entire defense for balling out, from a team scoring 31+ points a game to barely hitting double digits is very impressive
After that 14 yard loss on the sack, it should be mentioned that Lamar threw a perfect pass for dang near 40 to Flowers on the sideline, dropping it in the bucket. Flowers just dropped it, and knew it from his reaction. That's the catch a true #1 WR makes, and is the real next step for the offense. That would have been the throw of the day by any QB if Zay comes down with it.
Totally agree. That’s why I’ve wanted us to trade for Adams for 2 years it feels like now. Flowers is a GREAT player, a top tier number 2 but we do need a bigger body alpha receiver. I just don’t know if Zay can ever be that guy. Definitely can’t physically but every elite passing offense needs a 6 ft (or bigger) big body alpha receiver like a Metcalf (ideal), Adams or AJ Brown.
@@sweatyzeusgamingI know what you mean. Like to lamar fans we be like can we see this front just make a trade for a proven wr. Many would say OBJ I be like why lamar alway have to wait for someone to recover.
We can never get that dog of a wr in their prime or in the draft. I like Bateman, but no one is afraid of him. Has "f" it body language also. Imagine Steve Smith Sr. in this offense.....
Orr gets his flowers tonight. Defense was balling holding Josh Allen to just 10. The talking heads tune will have to change tomorrow. Lamar, 22, Justice Hill and all our blockers a tough combo to beat. Fantastic RAVENS!! and the O-line held up beautiful.
I only watched the first half, but that was a fantastic game by the Ravens on BOTH sides of the ball. The Raven's defense looked like it's old self today, and it reminded me of the level they played at when they completely shut down the Lions last season.
The rookie Wiggins almost had two picks !!! Defense had its moments but tightened up when it needed too Lamar was Playing around an fumbled but over all we smashed them that’s RAVENS FOOTBALL 🏈!!!
Roger ‘Happy Feet’ Rosengarten looked great in his first start against a solid D Line. Definitely has a higher ceiling than Mekari playing tackle. Mekari fits like a glove as LG while Voorhees continues to learn.
Coach another thing like you mentioned before Adarius brings that physicality and energy to the defense and seems to be more versatile. He should be the first safety after Kyle and Marcus
Idk about you guys but I thought one of the differences was we FINALLY stuck to the run in the second half. It milks the clock, allows the defense to rest, keeps the offensive line out of pass protection (I think they are getting better at pass blocking but could be wrong idk) I think it’s the key to our success.. can’t wait to hear what you think
I love the misdirection running plays and play action rollouts. We can do those with Henry or Hill, who looks more explosive than I remember. This should be our style a la the 2000 team: run lots, dump down/screen, use the TEs, take occasional shots, and play good defense. 16 to 27 passes is a good range for Lamar.
Thanks coach ! It was a great Raven's win ! After all the smack talk coming from pundits this week about how we were going to get carved up and Allen is better than Lamar, it was great to see our pass defense and D line take a major step and hold Allen to some pedestrian numbers. Our O. looked scary good at times too ! One question: When do you sleep ? 😅
I agree, dominant performance. I want to give the o line credit, they are not a strong group but they make it work. When I watched the film I thought they were small and slow especially at safety. Defense is gradually getting better ever game. I think AD has to get on the field more over Jackson he bring energy and physicality that we not seeing from the other guys not including Kyle he is as advertised
Ravens will NEED to use different offensive weapons. NFL teams each have their own strengths and weaknesses. They will need all their TOOLS ⚒️ in the Box 📦. GO RAVENS !! 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈👨🏿👨🏿👀👀👏🏿👏🏿💜💜8🤴🏿👑
Still too many mistakes. 3rd and 4th drives were full of them. LJ fumbles trying to recover from a holding penalty. 5th TD happens on a mistake as well. Offense did a decent job of recovering from them. Defense balled out.
I'm still a little weary of the pass pro in obvious pass situations but it was nice to see us going under center and playaction pass. Thats always there now.
We had like 4 drops tonight that didn’t seem to make a huge difference marks, says, rashods( I know he was held and it got called but he still should have caught it), and I can’t remember who but it was another dime down the side line, the ravens definitely need to pass way more , Lamar is too good of a qb to not be using the explosive ness that will come in our pass game, Lamar only having any thing less than 25 passes in a game, is just criminally limiting us, and it’s a big reason why teams are able to come back so easy with out us putting up points if your not getting any 7-8 yard runs and your only running it leads to 3 and outs, especially when they know your just handing the ball off
Great team win but they thing things the haunt us we got away with when Lamar fumbled that should of been a Henry run. IMO Henry was eating but if he doesn’t get there we have momentum and we need to get Tucker involved to see what we have the TO penalty for DOG by Harbs should not happen with 20 years experience if Coleman makes that catch we a talking about a different ball game Harbs and Monken have to be better!!!
Concerning the Henry fumble. When I watched a replay it seems the ball wasn't secure before the defender even touched him. Maybe a wet ball was an issue.
Everything was working. I think the bills are a fast flow team. They seemed to have nothing for the split flow stuff. Defense looked good as well, almost the same as last year except there is more zone blitz and just the front four winning organically. Less stunts and games up front. More disguising coverages and fronts instead.
Lowkey Bills are screwed. They have to play a damn near perfect game on all three phases to win. They are talent depleted and no depth. Coleman will be great but not this year. James Cook is not Top 10. Kincaid can't take a game over like Kelce, MAndrews, Gronk. Shakir is only good and useful in the slot. I can't even remember other wrs. Von Miller well past his prime. Their star LB is so injury prone. If Damar Hamlin is your starting safety, that secondary is garbage 🗑️. They will win easily against bad teams B/C Josh Allen is a beast but will struggle to beat the elite teams. Ravens at each level have star power talent and then we have depth behind them too.
Henry was #1 in the league in yards off screens last year I think. The fact Monken had no pass concepts developed for Henry till now.. is criminal. The destruction of the offensive line.. is criminal. Until they make a move for a veteran offensive lineman.. i still won't take Baltimore serious.
I am sooo sick of, year after year, Harbaugh has so much trouble with clock management, timeouts, challenges. They should have promoted him to the front office, made Mike Mcdonald to hc and Zack Orr to dc.
Huge credit to Zach Orr and the entire defense for balling out, from a team scoring 31+ points a game to barely hitting double digits is very impressive
Fr, secondary was gelling, Marlo looked great, I think Hamilton was banged up but looked himself this week.
O line improvement is the difference maker.
Clean up the flags
Hill is the perfect compliment to Henry’s game, and once Mitchell gets back, the Ravens will be a very tough team to beat down the stretch 💜🖤💜🖤💜✌🏾🐦⬛😳
Mitchell 🔥🔥🔥🔥

D-Hop catches that ball

Or hear me out, we can feature our pass game around our most sure handed and yac producing player LIKELY 🤯
We can never get that dog of a wr in their prime or in the draft. I like Bateman, but no one is afraid of him. Has "f" it body language also. Imagine Steve Smith Sr. in this offense.....
Coach, that was a nice all around team win tonight.
Coach, I'm glad you mentioned the screens, I saw them today and said to myself: Oh shit, we have screens that work!
The O-line was effin' fantastic!
Happy to be here with ya late! Still got too much of a 'crushing victory after game high' going on
Agree. Same here. For real.
This was a statement win, clean clean game, minimal flags, execution on all big plays & contained Allen
Go Ravens. I wanna see yall in the SB, as a Lions fan. That would be so great.
when this team shows up, it's SB
Gotta give the O-line credit for stepping up after the first two games!
The Doom 0:51 feeling was real…props to the defense for having the O back
dominant win where lamar didn't have to be superman, cant complain. Harbaugh never fails to mismanage a situational part of the game.
Harbs will cost us a SB. We need to go after McVay or Johsnon from Detroit.
I only watched the first half, but that was a fantastic game by the Ravens on BOTH sides of the ball. The Raven's defense looked like it's old self today, and it reminded me of the level they played at when they completely shut down the Lions last season.
You didn't have to remind us Go Lions who is a fan of 8
Von Miller was stopped up so well man.
I forgot he was even out there
@guyfromnewark lol same here. Didnt hear his name all night.
@@guyfromnewark he played 9 snaps
I just knew watching this game that coach was HYPE!! Happy for ya coach! Now let's hope Lions dominate tonight too!
I love your analysis. Very informative and well done. Thanks!
Humphrey and rosengarden had a good game
The rookie Wiggins almost had two picks !!! Defense had its moments but tightened up when it needed too Lamar was Playing around an fumbled but over all we smashed them that’s RAVENS FOOTBALL 🏈!!!
That fumble into botched time out was a disheartening sequence
Dont forget a td was saved by a linemen for a ThiccSix
Roger ‘Happy Feet’ Rosengarten looked great in his first start against a solid D Line.
Definitely has a higher ceiling than Mekari playing tackle. Mekari fits like a glove as LG while Voorhees continues to learn.
It's awesome seeing King Henry with the Ravens!
I just opened this, but I have been waiting for it!!!!
27:08 on the play I saw Henry running with the ball looking loose on that before the hit
Henry clocked 21.4 mph... he has Jets....
Love the intro coach 🔥🔥🔥
Justice Hill was ballin !!!

Hamlin had the angle on Henry for sure. He just didn't have the juice to catch him.
Never will i pick against Ravens again
Im just waiting for national Media narratives they going try after this game on Lamar, and for Josh...tbc
I told everyone derrick henry was going to get 1800 yards this season
Mark seem like he don’t got the same spark he use to thrive in tough games. This the 3rd tough game he hasn’t shown up in the passing game.
I agree, dominant performance. I want to give the o line credit, they are not a strong group but they make it work.

They honestly need to run even more 13 to 15 throws is more than enough

The last 2 games have made me realize the offense was too Zay centric last year and the first 2 games of this season.
Still too many mistakes. 3rd and 4th drives were full of them. LJ fumbles trying to recover from a holding penalty. 5th TD happens on a mistake as well. Offense did a decent job of recovering from them. Defense balled out.

Thank you to Jerry Jones. Without his questionable decisions, Derrick Henry would be in Dallas.
This is the first game of the Lamar era where it felt like the team around him was good enough to win without him.
We had like 4 drops tonight that didn’t seem to make a huge difference marks, says, rashods( I know he was held and it got called but he still should have caught it), and I can’t remember who but it was another dime down the side line, the ravens definitely need to pass way more , Lamar is too good of a qb to not be using the explosive ness that will come in our pass game, Lamar only having any thing less than 25 passes in a game, is just criminally limiting us, and it’s a big reason why teams are able to come back so easy with out us putting up points if your not getting any 7-8 yard runs and your only running it leads to 3 and outs, especially when they know your just handing the ball off
No need to when youre running the ball like this. That demoralizes a defense. When we're forced to throw alot the offense doesnt look as well.
Great team win but they thing things the haunt us we got away with when Lamar fumbled that should of been a Henry run. If Wiggins makes that pick the game changes too.
Ifs get you nowhere.
The Ravens started 0-2 and got killed. Now they won 2 in a row and the problem is the passing game...🤷🏻♀️

Great point about the Fast Flow being what the Bills thrive against.

Agreed. Henry can put us over the top IF our coaches pull their head out of their asses and utilise him properly.
