Well having worked on these loco's in the early 70's as a second man.They would certainly make your hairs on the back of your head stand up when you had to go in there to sort the boiler out or pump the header tank up. It's amazing how many don't realise the reality of working on these Locos. But I must say I wouldn't have missed it for the world. They were masters of their job. You'll need your 🎧 on the lowest setting
