I think 'Worms Forts' is a different game compared to the first Worms games and with them he was supposed to try something new, like Worms Rumble in terms of being more in line with the Soldat game.

@@copperboy3005 It's never a bad idea to try new things with game franchises but it is understandable if they don't work, I personally do think Worms always did better in 2D because both the wind and ninja roping is easier to grasp but the 3D games had their own niche and I've barely played Forts though the concept of building bases to fire larger weapons is a neat idea.
Heck, I'm a little sad that this idea for a Worms karting game got scrapped because how could you say "no" to a kart game with Worms weapons? Especially so many ideas I'm envisioning like bringing back the cast of Worms Blast as drivers or weapons becoming more Dark Side the further behind you are like, for example, a Blowtorch that lets you cut across the track off-road?
