Rick had $3500 in his account out of which he used $2500 and borrowed $2500 from the broker to make an investment of $5000. So Yes!, the $2500 margin is Rick's original investment.

this is alot of math this robot isgoing way to fast on the calculations
THE WORST APP EVER. STOP LOSS ALOWED ONLY 30% DOWN. SO IT MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO TRADE VOLATILE STOCKS.
Literally they closed my position and then stock started growing without my consent

@@seanryannyawo3002 If you trade with leverage, your position will automatically close if your equity drops below 50%. This is common with all trading apps/services I believe
