Taro is a main staple here in Hawaii! It's called "Kalo" in Hawaiian. The Taro leaves are also eaten. Bountiful harvest! Thanks for sharing. Great video.
I was educated on this wonder food at our Djanbung gardens permaculture open day yesterday Nimbin NSW AUSTALIA.. Lovely to see yours and can’t wait to plant my two and reap the benefits. One love 💗 great food forest there
Wow 1 plant turned into soo many new plants and a large harvest. I love God's multiplication. I am going to try this in a pot since I am in a colder climate. Another RUclipsr got me fixated on growing edos 😄
Omg discovered taro when I went to Molokai back in the days and after that I had an addiction LOL Lucky you Dan full harvest for sure ;-) No need to buy online or overseas to get a great harvest ;-) Kindness always Dan
Nice updates, Brother Dan. Hope our taro does as well as yours is down in the food forest. My wife loves using the taro in so many different Filipino recipes. Thanks for sharing. Great video. One Love
Hey Brother Rob ... Awesome! ...I've only eaten it cooked in soups and plain. You could include some of those delicious dishes in one of your videos.😀 Thank you so much Have a blessed week .. One Love
You're right! You can eat the leaves and I think the stems too. I have to ask my friend how to cook that because I have some started growing in a pot that I planted last fall. I'll be planting more taro instead of potatoes because the leaves looks pretty in the front garden and nobody will know it's edible. I also planted ginger from the store and now I have ginger in 4 small pots every year. They multiply too! Thank you for educating your viewers! This video is very helpful. ❤️🙏
The leaves are delicious... The plants definitely have a cool appearance... In my front yard, I also plant them for that decorative appeal.. Thank you so much I appreciate sharing what I'm growing with others, as it gives them new ideas and possibilities in the garden Have a great week
That's a nice harvest Dan and the health benefits you listed are impressive. We have to look into growing them. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your Sunday. #ONELOVE

Good afternoon blessed and highly favoured brother Dan. I love using the leaves 🍃 to cook 👩🍳 yum yum stew 🍲. Is full of iron . And I use the coco yam 🍠 to do fufu. A dish in Ghana 🇬🇭. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God to be a blessing to many and you are doing just that. Thank you. I wish above all things that you will prosper and be in good health as your soul prosper. May the Lord of peace fill you with exceeding joy and peace. Have a blessed day.

If it scratches your mouth, it must have been the yellow one. It did it to me, so I usually don't eat that one & I haven't seen it in a long time. The purple one is the one I find & What I eat quite Often 😊
