    Nice list. Weather has a lot to do with how I decide where to travel. I was having a hard time coming up with a good November location, so your suggestion of Fethiye and the Turquoise Coast is appreciated. I've been to Antalya but had always wanted to slowly drive along the coast, do some hiking, and spend time in places like Fethiye. Thanks for the suggestion! Looking forward to the next 2 videos of the series.

      Great idea! The hiking in Fethiye is incredible. Be sure to watch our video on Living in Fethiye. We also have a blog post about Bodrum. We stayed in Izmir and it wasn't our favorite.

    Fabulous video, love the places you suggested. Wondering how you can be in Europe more than 90 days at a time?

    • @EatWalkLearn
      @EatWalkLearn  6 дней назад

      Right. We can't. What we suggested is not an itinerary. Watch next week for our itineraries or search now at EatWalkLearn.Com for "itinerary".

    Good list! Thinking that I can't follow exactly due to 90 day Schengen zone? April, May, June in Italy, Portugal, and Spain and I'm done for six months, so August, September, October in Latvia, Croatia, and Greece...no can do. Is this correct?

    • @EatWalkLearn
      @EatWalkLearn  8 дней назад +1

      Yes. You're right. I guess this is meant to be a guide rather than a 12 month exact itinerary. We don't want you to get in trouble with the Schengen authorities. And you're too smart for that anyway.

    This was such a great video! And now we can’t wait to see your logistics plan 😁. I’m still trying to figure out how we get ourselves around the globe without flying… and still chasing 72!

    Great start to your new series 👏 💪🎬
    I thought Latvia was part of the Shengen zone 🤔 That's one thing I think we will have the biggest chance to mess up.😊 Doing the Shengen shuffle. 😳
    Love that 72° mindset 🌞

      Latvia is part of Schengen. At least according to Google.

    • @EatWalkLearn
      @EatWalkLearn  7 дней назад +2

      Yes, you are right. But as we stressed, this isn't an itinerary. It's suggestions for where to be each month for perfect weather. Next week, watch for our itineraries. They're also posted at www.EatWalkLearn.Com

      @@EatWalkLearn Glad you clarified this, watching the list I was surprised at the amount of jumping around that would be required. It didn't seem like an optimal travel itinerary -- and it apparently wasn't. :-)
      For fun, I went to ChatGPT and asked it to propose a 12-month travel itinerary with the following requirements: 1) mid-70s temps during the day; 2) mostly sunny; 3) off-peak or shoulder season for tourism; 4) Central and South America for May through October, then Southeast Asia for November through May. It actually came up with a really interesting plan with what appeared to be solid reasoning, that I will be digging into.

    I love this list! I don't want to shovel snow but am okay with a little cooler weather than you guys, if it means less tourists! I will be in Riga in July and am looking forward to it. Can you tell me the name of the company that you rented bikes from? Thanks!

    • @EatWalkLearn

      Wonderful! We rented from here BicycleRental.lv
      +371 29 133 867
      g.co/kgs/X22STkF . They have two offices. We rented from the office near the Hilton Garden Inn. The owner is at that shop and who you'd make a month long deal.

    July/August are the hardest months to plan. It's either too hot in many places, or too expensive because it's high season, or closed due to summer holiday.

    Many of the countries you’ve listed are in the schengen zones. How do you accomplish this?

    • @EatWalkLearn
      @EatWalkLearn  8 дней назад

      Good question. We were in Croatia before they entered Schengen, but we use countries like Ireland and Turkey to manage our time in Europe.
