Normal pencil is not dark enough, so you have to use those pencils.

Hi even I got the good colour set mentioned the description..but that is not as creamy as yours..not sure why is that.. also that good soft sheet is not available..add any other link..

It's nice that you get the good one and yes it's not that creamy and not easy to blend, it's not the problem with your oil pastels it's the nature of oil pastels but you can blend it just apply harder pressure while you're blending it, the harder pressure you'll apply the smoother blending you'll get and for paper try cheap one because I guess you are new to oil pastels, there is not that much different between both except brand for oil pastel use, good one costs you lot higher, those papers are made for professional and realistic artworks.
