I guess as a veteran of the workforce, I already knew to look for developer jobs pretty everywhere that does not include the tech bubble. People ran to the high salaries and I don't blame them, but now they will have to accept normal salaries at more traditional businesses. The money is still good but not crazy
As someone who's starting out and taking this 6-12 month period to skill up and build stuff, do you think I'd be able to get my first job at a company that's not a giant ? Breaking in to this industry is the most important thing for me.
You still need to learn to code cause Programming will still be in demand in the future but you also need to learn Mandarin cause the next company that you will work for might not be in the US anymore.

Well i would still say the US is still the dominate market. But you are right coding is going nowhere
