I like the idea that during a fire the metal of old window screen frames would melt into the metal preventing escape. This window screen idea is good for escaping fires. Just figure out how to prevent misuse for hiding break-ins. Good product.
Well if parents discipline their kids it wouldn’t be a problem. If the kids or criminals are like that parents can put iron bars on. I like flex screen, it allows me to clean the windows thoroughly.
Window screens have only one purpose and claim only one thing - to let air in and keep bugs out. Period. No regular window screen can or will guarantee to hold anything in or keep anything (other than bugs) out. And mesh is mesh - people with bad intent are not deterred by it in any window screen. Please never rely on screens for safety or security. We're just here to let you enjoy that fresh air, bug-free!
