We felt heard and noticed when HSM3 was in theaters because something we loved and grew up on was going to the big screen. Troy and Gabriela were our first real exposure to a sweeping romance and their relationship set a standard that we all, even till this day, hope to have one day. They were kindred spirits and fell in love with each other as they fell in love with themselves and who they really were inside. The films give you a sense of adventure. It's like a fairytale. Don't let go of that little kid inside you and don't let go of these movies and the impact they had on us all

Gabriella fell for Troy HARD. The only thing I didn’t like was how the entire basketball team just turned their backs on Troy because of her. They basically forced him to choose between singing or playing the game. Plus, he was too worried about living his life through his father’s dreams & making him happy. These 2 were my OTP.
