    So 5600G consumes less power and generates less heat together with the GPU. Meanwhile I3 consumes more because it is faster in single cores. In most titles, i3 wins in performance, but in certain titles, mostly in open world ones, 5600G wins. Perhaps something to do with the multicores...

      Dude, may i ask is it better to have faster in single cores or having more cores. I confuse to pick ryzen 4500 and i3 12100F.

      ​@@mateuszc70but the motherboard cost so much more compared to AMD. A good atx mobo for lga1700 cost almost double the price compared to AMD.

      Вы всё равно на минималках не будете играть, поэтому расчёт что на средних и высоких настройках выдают эти процессоры с этой картой.

    quite interesting
    12100f with 75% price of a 5600g
    can head to head in some games
    but with higher temps around 10-20 C max and cpu consumption around 10-15% more

      What surprised me more is how Core i3 12100F can be very close in video encoding. It has less core and clocked lower after all.

      pretty sure he was using intel stock cooler, while amd stock cooler much better than intel's, i personaly using 12100 with deepcool ag400+ and its run only 50-55c on full loads

    Interesting to pick Radeon RX 6600 XT here. Realistically, most people with entry level CPU would pick anything priced below RX 6700 XT. Also, it is worth nothing that Radeon runs more efficienctly than Geforce in CPU usage. Entry level CPU paired with Radeon RX 6600 XT can be faster than the same CPU paired with Geforce RTX 3080 at 1080p.

    Non f 12100 is pretty underated as it beats quite a lot of low to mid tier cpus and is somehow pretty cheap only thing can beat it is its current gen older brothers and r7+ and 7000 series

    i think if you want to build your pc with dedicated gpu just go for intel. people who buy 5600g are those that gonna build their PC without dedicated gpu and planning about it later, no?

      yes AMD has great iGPU,comparable to a GT 1030 and i was going to buy a pc with just ryzen vega graphics but i found a good deal and i got ryzen 5 5600g and also RX 6500XT which works amazing for me

      @@alchercraft7014 if you want a budget gaming/streaming CPU go for i3 12100f,for an i5 get the i5 12400f and for higher end get i7 12700k
      But if you like a good CPU with lower power consumption get a ryzen 5 5600g or ryzen 5 7600x

    only get a 5600g if you are stuck with a b350/b450 motherboard with pcie3. If you are buying new motherboard go 5600(non x,non g)/b550 for pcie4 or 12100(or12400)/b660 for pcie4/5 or if your budget allows 7600/b650e for pcie5

    Interesting comparison - any idea why the 12100 tends to have higher 1% and 0.1% lows? Even though it has 12MB of L3 cash compared to 5600G's 16MB of L3 cash??

      While cache and cores are important for lows, single core performance is the most important aspect.

      Golden Cove has higher instruction per clock compared to Zen 3. Zen also seems to be relying more on cache. Ryzen 9 5900X has massive 64MB L3 Cache but still loses to Core i7-12700K with only 25MB L3 Cache in games and (some) applications.

      better singlecore performance = lower 1% 0.1%. This 4 core CPU easily outperform old 24 core Xeons with tons of L3 cache in games due to high single-core perf and waaaay better memory controller

      Core i3 12 gen price is much lower than 5600g ,u can add 1650 GPU to compensate for graphics as 1650 gpus r cheaper now
