Heidi was the first Doberman I ever loved because of how she was with you Paw Paw, She was exceptional 🥰. All her days were her “Best Days Ever” from playing with her cats, swimming in her pond, snuffling down her breakfast jacks, running like the wind, riding with her Paw Paw and snuggling down to sleep with you after another day full of fun. YOU repaid her love and adoration by giving her an awesome life as your true friend and partner…….what a blessing ❤

Good morning Paw Paw! Of course I’m in tears😭. The bond that is made with our fur babies is like no other. They are our children. Heidi knew how much you loved her and with that love you let her go because it was the right decision. I had a baby her name was Mabry she was part lab part German shepherd and she was such a joy. 3 years ago I had to make the hard decision to let her go. I still get upset thinking about her and our last time together. She was a stray and I took her in she lived a long life and I know she loved me and she knew I loved her. I can remember sitting on the floor in the vet room loving on her and thanking her for choosing me as she took her last breath. I will never have another dog that will have that kind of bond we had together. She also slept with me loved to chase a tennis ball and loved to snuggle. She will always be in my heart and I can’t wait to see her again. Grief for an animal is real and very hard to get over. Thank you for sharing Heidi with us she was a special girl. Anyone that had that special partner knows exactly what Heidi meant to you. My husband and I had a special cocker spaniel She was our partner. She is gone 2 years this month and I miss her every day. She had a very hard 6 months at the breeders. When we got her, she was afraid of everything as the only contact she had with humans was when given her shots and her food. Her brothers and sisters were all happy and wagging their tails, but Penny stayed in the shelter box and would not come out. She did find peace with us, but it left some scars on her, but with us we were her family and she was our special girl. Thank you for sharing your special girl Heidi with us.
Love you Pawpaw. My girl Lilly was born Christmas day. She passed Jan 11 2024 Lived 17 years, 17 days, and 7 hours. Everyday... I miss her. I don't tear up as much as I did. I miss our Heidi Ho too. Big ole HUGGZZZ friend💛🌻
Hello friend, I feel your pain and shed some tears this morning. I loved seeing you and your best friend go by your day spending time together. I lost my precious baby in Aug 2016. Her name was Diamond and I still miss her like it was yesterday. I still cry my eyes out sometimes. I do have a new dog now but he will never replace my sweet, smart, and protective baby girl. I'm sorry for your lost and only wish our babies could stay with us our lifetime. 😢

Just lost my little Papion/Chihuahua Sugar girl last Tuesday. We had her for 14 yrs . She was born on Valentine's Day and we traveled all they way to Virginia to get her . I havent been able to cry for her until i watched your video this morning . Thank you . And hugs for you and your Heidi.

Heidi was such a good girl, she will be missed 😢 💐🥀🌿 I had two Dobermans that I rescued from a sanctuary. I got one first she had to have her eye removed. I didn't know it was cancer, and then I lost her. 😢 So I adopted another girl, and it died of cancer, too. I had to have them both put to sleep. I wanted one because I had five kids, and I knew they were really good with the kids. It's not easy to do. I'm 67, and now it never gets easy. I lost my lab a few years ago to cancer. Now I feed my dogs people food, and wet food and treats. I stay away from dry food. Experts say that it's not good for dogs and it can cause cancer. So now I was really overweight, and my son-in-law got me Australian Shepherd I wanted one forever, but they were very expensive. Well, the moral of the story is after Chasing around a puppy an house breaking it and all the energy they have, I have lost over 40lb. I am feeling great. It's been 6 years since my dog Frasier died and I can't hold back the tears he was my Heidi. I had him for 12 yrs and he went everywhere with me. He was my best friend. I had other dogs but my Frasier was special. I've been following you from the start, I started with Lester first. I know how special she was to you and everyone that watched. I think everyone's had that one special pet in our life, take care I know how hard this was for you.
Heidi was your heart dog. I had a heart dog too. She was 15 when she passed away. She was so smart & I know she knew exactly what I was telling her. Heidi & my little dog both had well loved & well lived lives. We will see them again for sure. ❤️

Paw paw many of us who have had pets all our lives will admit that there was one that was just special. Not that we didn't love the others, but one just knew us and we knew them like no other. One that would do anything for us and knew we would do anything for them. When they leave us, our heart feels like something crushed it. It's like one of our children were taken from us. Many of us know your pain. Sending love and prayers. You'll be with her again someday, but until then I hope there are more days that make you smile at her memory than there are that make you cry. Heidi loved her PawPaw. She certainly was your sidekick. I loved seeing her by your side, on the mule, in your truck, getting on/off every time you stopped. She would always take a swim or check the grounds with you. I remember her last swim and I cried knowing that she knew it was her last swim. When you would go to the feed store, you would make a special trip to Jack in the Box for her two Breakfast Jacks. Heidi was one special furrbaby, & she loved life with her Pawpaw. I fell so in love with her, I couldn’t watch your videos after her going to our Lord for 3 weeks. I never consider our furrbabies as dogs, they are God’s angels, only animal that he created that is truly unconditionally loving. Beautiful tribute to our girl, yes you will see Heidi girl again. I had a Yorkie who died of the same thing and broke my heart too. Your boys Ivan, Woodie, Kippie and now Buster are looking after you. Good morning PawPaw, woke up to see today’s was Heidi girl. Today it’s been 4yrs since I lost my “partner” and best friend, Moose. He was my Heidi. I hope they are running and playing together as he was a lot like Heidi. Moose was a lover and snuggler…he had to put his chin on your shoulder right next to your face…or lean in on you. And not just snuggle to me but to my grandson, kids, good friends…everybody loved Moose. He was so special. He was only 8 when he passed of a ruptured tumor no one even knew he had. It was the hardest loss as Heidi was. No one will replace him and no dog can compare. He was my big ol blanket suckin, love bug. Bless you Pawpaw. I still can’t talk about him without crying after 4yrs. I know the grief and thank you for giving Heidi her best life.
Having a dog like Heidi is an honor and blessing not everyone is lucky enough to have in their lives The worst part of Having that love is having to make the decision to end their pain while knowing your going to break your own heart When I was around 14 I found a German shepherd in the woods after a bad thunderstorm Noone ever came looking for her So she was my partner for 13 yrs She would run beside me when I was horseback riding through out the trails when I went to school she knew when I was supposed to be home and go out to the driveway and wait on the hill So I would always go to the end of the driveway and call for her and she'd come running Ride in the back of my pickup I've had other German shepherds since but nothing compared to her. Our little shi tzu Zeke has been gone for 6 years. We had him for 14 years. We think about him every day. Sometimes at night you can feel by your feet a heavy spot where he would lay. It's strange but comforting.

Anyone that had that special partner knows exactly what Heidi meant to you. My husband and I had a special cocker spaniel She was our partner. She is gone 2 years this month and I miss her every day. She had a very hard 6 months at the breeders. When we got her, she was afraid of everything as the only contact she had with humans was when given her shots and her food. Her brothers and sisters were all happy and wagging their tails, but Penny stayed in the shelter box and would not come out. She did find peace with us, but it left some scars on her, but with us we were her family and she was our special girl. Thank you for sharing your special girl Heidi with us.

Hello friend, I feel your pain and shed some tears this morning. I loved seeing you and your best friend go by your day spending time together. I lost my precious baby in Aug 2016. Her name was Diamond and I still miss her like it was yesterday. I still cry my eyes out sometimes. I do have a new dog now but he will never replace my sweet, smart, and protective baby girl. I'm sorry for your lost and only wish our babies could stay with us our lifetime. 😢

I had two Dobermans that I rescued from a sanctuary. I got one first she had to have her eye removed. I didn't know it was cancer, and then I lost her. 😢 So I adopted another girl, and it died of cancer, too. I had to have them both put to sleep. I wanted one because I had five kids, and I knew they were really good with the kids. It's not easy to do. I'm 67, and now it never gets easy. I lost my lab a few years ago to cancer. Now I feed my dogs people food, and wet food and treats. I stay away from dry food. Experts say that it's not good for dogs and it can cause cancer. So now I was really overweight, and my son-in-law got me Australian Shepherd
I wanted one forever, but they were very expensive. Well, the moral of the story is after Chasing around a puppy an house breaking it and all the energy they have, I have lost over 40lb. I am feeling great. I hope you're having a good day ❤ and we will see you on the next video.

PawPaw, I am crying but a good cry…remembering sweet Heidi. I call her a heart friend that will always be loved! I truly believe dogs are in Heaven. It's been 6 years since my dog Frasier died and I can't hold back the tears he was my Heidi. I had him for 12 yrs and he went everywhere with me. He was my best friend. I had other dogs but my Frasier was special. I've been following you from the start, I started with Lester first. I know how special she was to you and everyone that watched. Paw paw many of us who have had pets all our lives will admit that there was one that was just special. Not that we didn't love the others, but one just knew us and we knew them like no other. One that would do anything for us and knew we would do anything for them. When they leave us, our heart feels like something crushed it. It's like one of our children were taken from us. Heidi loved her PawPaw. She certainly was your sidekick. I loved seeing her by your side, on the mule, in your truck, getting on/off every time you stopped. She would always take a swim or check the grounds with you. I remember her last swim and I cried knowing that she knew it was her last swim. When you would go to the feed store, you would make a special trip to Jack in the Box for her two Breakfast Jacks. It caught me off guard for a brief moment and blew my mind when you said it's been 6 months since God called our Heidi-Girl Home. It really and truly still feels like it was yesterday. Thank You for doing this lovely tribute. I believe YOU have given ME the STRENGTH to finally send you an email explaining just how special my Piper (my 1st baby) was, and how the day she passed took every bit of strength and love I could muster to make it through. It will make sense later.

She was happiest by your side going on the mule, in truck, or sitting on porch. As long as you were together. You would get her breakfast Jack's from Jack in the box, Take her for a ride on the mule, would stay way back when you'd mess with your bees one sting was enough for her. Johnny run beside while you were driving along & Heidi would tolerate Johnny getting on & all his shenanigans!!! I will never forget how special she was. She loved her swimming hole & Camp Heidi. You gave her that last ride on the mule & let her look out at all the places she loved. Remember all those good memories. She is everywhere you look or go. She truly loved you PawPaw!!! Heidi was one special furrbaby, & she loved life with her Pawpaw. I fell so in love with her, I couldn’t watch your videos after her going to our Lord for 3 weeks. Good morning PawPaw, woke up to see today’s was Heidi girl. Today it’s been 4yrs since I lost my “partner” and best friend, Moose. He was my Heidi. I hope they are running and playing together as he was a lot like Heidi. Moose was a lover and snuggler…he had to put his chin on your shoulder right next to your face…or lean in on you. And not just snuggle to me but to my grandson, kids, good friends…everybody loved Moose. He was so special. He was only 8 when he passed of a ruptured tumor no one even knew he had. It was the hardest loss as Heidi was. No one will replace him and no dog can compare. He was my big ol blanket suckin, love bug. Bless you Pawpaw. I still can’t talk about him without crying after 4yrs. I know the grief and thank you for giving Heidi her best life.

Having a dog like Heidi is an honor and blessing not everyone is lucky enough to have in their lives The worst part of Having that love is having to make the decision to end their pain while knowing your going to break your own heart
When I was around 14 I found a German shepherd in the woods after a bad thunderstorm Noone ever came looking for her So she was my partner for 13 yrs She would run beside me when I was horseback riding through out the trails when I went to school she knew when I was supposed to be home and go out to the driveway and wait on the hill So I would always go to the end of the driveway and call for her and she'd come running Ride in the back of my pickup I've had other German shepherds since but nothing compared to her.

Our little shi tzu Zeke has been gone for 6 years. We had him for 14 years. We think about him every day. Sometimes at night you can feel by your feet a heavy spot where he would lay. It's strange but comforting.
