Hello! What are the steps involved to configure Oracle 19c installed DB to enable email feature in one of the PDBs. Are we to login as sysdba in root cdb or the particular pdb to run the utlmail/prvtmail/utlsmtp.sql Where do we create the ACL in PDB or root cdb Thank you for your advice and great help.

Hello ,
Step 1 :First we need to create a database service with PDB property using the SRVCTL utility.
Step 2 : We have to create an entry in the tnsnames. ora file for the service created.
Step 3 : We need to start the service
Step 4: Finally, Connect to the database using the service with the pdb property

check your .bash_profile in oracle home. Have you set variable setting in your profile for the folders where you are going to install oracle ?

Piyush first check your windows 7 whether 32 bit or 64 bit and accordingly install required

The specified oracle base location is invalid......so how to over come this problem plz

1. The oracle password should contain characters recommended by them. Oracle recommends that passwords contain at least one string.
2. Provide a valid My Oracle Support username. Password cannot be empty
3. Check the My Oracle Support username and/or password provided

When i'm going to visit databade url it say "local host refused to connect"
And i get options as "reload" and other is "hide detailes" on the chrome browser

We can check following option
First see if OracleServiceXE and OracleXETNSListener services are running.
Replace 127.0.0.1 in the url, with the IP or the name of your machine.

I'm unable to connect 19c to developer.
Status: failure - test failed IO Error: Socket read interrupted, socket connect lapse

Make sure your installation is on a LOCAL drive.
If SQL Developer is launched from a network location that could be the issue.
