Nah a new game needs to come out. Capcom can’t put out games right now because of their busy schedule which sucks because a lot of games are left on the shelf until future notice
Adrian Gonzalez I agree I would like a new one...I just said remaster Bc I lost my physical copy and from where I’ve been looking it costs a pretty penny for one lol so if I’m going to buy it again it might as well be a remake lol

ComboFiend has ALWAYS been one of my favorite players.

@@Fightookaishii There's a post on reddit with a torrent of every fcade 2 rom if you need it, and after downloading the roms it's pretty plug n play
Another Capcom Masterpiece. SNK vs Capcom 1 was amazing too! I have this on ps2 still working perfectly
I think I'm convinced this is the greatest fighting game ever... gonna have to start putting time in on fightcade. it's just so great. imagine this got the treatment of kof2002 etc.

Wow this game brings back so many memories from my childhood. We had a Dreamcast that my uncle "made" our games for. This game was one of the gems we had. I just remembered there were more characters unless this is a different version.

Damn this is tense as fuck! As someone who started with SF4, I can see why old school players would dislike newer capcom games.
You’re right on about the fireballs. Doing a sweep is almost always followed by a fireball because of the desire to create an intuitive block string. Block stun isn’t as crucial in this game because of strong punish options via the roll.
I miss Combofiend, people talking about that functions crap blew it way out of proportion. Honest mistake from a difficult situation. Internet loves talking shit behind a monitor.
People blame combo when he's was just repeating what capcom told him to say. It sucks but thats what a representative has to do, no need to shoot the messenger.
Its not like he was entirely wrong though.

People seem to forget there was like a decade that Combofiend was actually in the fighting game community and he was somehow ridiculed by people who spend all their time talking shit online.

xmen children of the atom ... my brother and I grew up playing that game on arcade in the early 90s... thats where all the move sets for the marvel chars from marvel v capcom came from... wolverines berserker barrage x, cyclops gene splice combo, storm's hail storm were all first present in that game
This takes me back. I spent so many hours on this game. It was so intense. Ive been disappointed with every capcom fighting game released after this.

Something similar happen to me! My aunt was looking for Marvel v Capcom 2 and the guy at GameStop handed her this. I was so sad until me and my friends started playing it 😂

It's a Capcom game, and most fans are Sf fans (mostly or only), most of the Capcom side of the roster is Sf, and most of the Snk roster is bad. So probability seems to be heading to Sf picks most of the time...
Sadly the roster is 98% SF for the capcom side lol

Most fg tend to have a small handful of characters that get played all the time. Marvel, SF, even Guilty Gear all have that. CvS2 is no different.
Combofiend functioned well. Justin should give him a wristband.
CvS2 is my 2nd favorite vs game, but I neva use snk characters. Only if the roster included Fuma Kotaro, Andy Bougard, Lee Rekka or Rai Bakuoh. . .🤩👊😞

With a little more practice on Combo's end these matches could be really good. He just missed some punishes that he wouldve never missed years ago.

If they ever did a Mortal Kombat versus Street fighter the best part about that is that they could take a lot of those run animations from this game CVS two calf conversa in case who which had all the cap con characters with the running animation because of the SNK groove but for chrissake if they ever make a cab converse SNK3 which I believe they will do within the next few years hopefully there’s no rolling allowed in the game I think the game is so good without it or dodging or any of those weird as in came mechanics that take away all the fun from its two dimensional fighter

Necessari sound like I’m complaining but I still think a lot of the S and K characters in Cap Converse as in case who needs to be tweaked I feel like Cafcom tried their best to make those unfair characters seem fair but they still have a long way to go in my opinion LOL I always felt like S&K characters were way easier to win with than cap con characters in my opinion
