Nice little truck! Just bought an '03 Sonoma regular cab with 4 cyl and automatic! It's a shame nobody makes a small truck like this anymore! Ranger and Colorado are huge compared to these trucks. Thanks for posting!
You can thank your Leftist government for this act of genius. They actually changed regulations so manufacturers make vehicles that get worse MPG's and would have to pay penalties for build small, more fuel efficient trucks like they use to.
Do most S10's have a long clutch throw? I just purchased a 03 and the clutch is almost all the way out when hitting the friction point. Only has 80K on it.

My S10 is more well used but has same body design for a standard cab 1998 LS base model with a 2.2l engine which sounds nice idling and is looking nice in Black
Not exactly the 2.2 and 4.3s were very good engines the trucks ride real smooth and not only that the 2.2 s10s are known to get to 300k with minimal issues there’s a decent amount of videos on them on RUclips the only thing I think would be junk is the 4l60e automatics the manuals were a lot better

I just bought a 2000 Chevy s10 Xtreme 5 speed 2.2. Love it already I had a 95 4.3 vortec automatic though (a lot more power)
GM products are the laughing stock of America dude........
Fords are also dependable for getting work done as long as it ain't newer than '98 due to the 99-04 triton 5.4l engine problem
Finnaly good quality video.
I got the same truck, my is red it drives very nice.
My 99 was 2.2 auto ,it was a joke. I recently sold my zrx sonoma , but most do not know what those are. RARE!
Oh-oh! Fire call, about 4:30!
Nice truck, wouldn’t drive on that tire for long tho!
Nice truck, dude.
The same type of fading has happened on my 2003 s10 front grille
Asking price?

@@CarsTrucksBuses .I want to ask, can this 5 speed be fitted with a short throw shifter? if possible, what brand and model is suitable?
Dude why do you get to know your rpm??? I don’t have that in mine. Stupid base model

S-10's were friggin junk it's basically a Yugo with a cargo bed.......Get a Ford Ranger or a Toyota Tacoma if you want a good truck!!

We got a 2000 s10 2.2 it’s got 310k miles and it’s on its last leg. But it still runs and drives! I got it back in 2011 for $2500
rangers have their issues. the V6 4.0l were a head gasket blowing machine, Tacoma"s are much more money and foreign made.
