i hate scammers.. all i ever wanted was a gamna leopaw because leopaw remidned me of my cat that passed and the gamma TO ME represents how special they were to me, only for me to get scammed and lose everything i had offered to trade for it.. i never did get that gamma leopaw. I’ve said it a bunch of times before, but I’ve also been scammed/sharked out of an alpha sapphire geklow. I ended up trading it for an alpha green hw duskit a couple of years ago. I regretted it almost immediately as I saw the guy brag about it on the official loomian legacy discord. I tried to trade for it back, but since I was so badly sharked I couldnt get it back. I kept track of who owned it and tried to trade for it every chance I could, until eventually, I got proof that the person who owned it at the time had their roblox account permanently banned for, conveniently, scamming. Even though the account was gone forever, Serxia still said they couldnt help me. I’ve tried to raise awareness of this countless times before, and Im hoping this is what pushes LTS over the edge on doing something about this. Thanks for bringing awareness about this situation ❤
I didn't do that much trading in Loomian Legacy, mainly because by now I am sick and done with trading in any Roblox games, due to firstly not being a proper value list and secondly because of people trying to shark you and get better deals, and by the time you realize you've been sharked, there's nothing you can do besides feeling sorry, cause the devs don't give a hoot that you got scammed and mostly say indirectly that "it's your fault for not knowing better" ESPECIALLY when it's about being scammed. Back when Bubblegum Simulator was still relevant and popular, I ended up getting switch scammed, by someone who replaced the secret pet with a different pet that had similar icons (more know were the Platinum Overlord for Giant Pearl and Sunlord for Radiant One), and it didn't matter if I wanted to report the guy who scammed me, since I not only had proof of that but also because it was stated they can't help with lost or scammed items, which sucks. Not only that but the annoyance of people who didn't want the offer (when it was a fair trade) or want more than the value it's at, along side if the game somehow had multiple value lists, which made it even more confusing cause you offered something, but in the list they use it's lower/higher. Probably the only thing to basically stop scammers and sharking is to just not have this 2 strike system, but once and done deal, and the only way to get unbanned is to appeal in case you were banned for no reason, and if they won't do that, why not a system that admins and devs can use it to see the culprit's inventory and then based of the info and trade log (that the devs 100% have it) to determine what to do, as well as removing/adding the scammed loomians back in their inventory, and if the same player somehow got on an alt after getting the 1st strike and still do it, to check any correlation to the scammer and perma ban any new account it makes until he either gives up or appeals. I know this might be to much to ask, but in all this time they had enough to brainstorm solutions, yet they are more focused on pumping new events rather than to implement some way to stop it.

this is exactly why i don’t trade in LL. i feel like the value system is the main problem for trading and this type of scams. i just firmly believe if there was no value system then scams like sharking wouldn’t be happening. 3 things i would say need to happen. 1. harsher actions needs to be taken. like the 6 month ban is fine, but if they do it again they just prove that they are a scammer and just perm ban em. 2 like you said moderator needs better tools to help these issues get resolved and actually know that this is a scam. 3 completely remove the value system. trading is supposed to be trading for what WE value, not what other people’s value. i’m gonna try and talk to whoever about this cuz it’s not fair for such a great game to be something ruined by one person. thank you lucky for spreading this awareness video.
The value system is based on traders. I assume they look into certain factors like how cool it looks, the rarity, how rare it is, and the biggest factor of all, the demand for it. The value system isn’t something that LL made, it’s the trading community

I remember i stayed up till 3am upon the release of the geklow anniversary event and me sacrificing my sleep scheduled allowed me to be one of the first few people to find and catch a sapphire geklow. It was in rally ranch and i was ECSTATIC. Someone saw it in the trade resort as i showed it to them, proving i had it, he then offered me an obsidrugon and said he would add others later as well as robux. Being a dumb kid, i accepted and lost my saph geklow as well as other loomians i added to the trade

I totally agree what your saying. I've necessarily haven't been scammed from LL but different other games such as Adopt Me. contacted support and they couldn't do anything about it and yet the scammers get to roam around freely like its all cool and puppies and rainbows you know? I've also got my account hacked and lost valuables stuff on a save file and had to restart all over again which is ok but still being hacked as well is also rough as being scammed. both things should have a resolve issue and at least restore with some actually proof that this is what happen, because I believe that a 6 month ban won't help these scammers get away, it should be a whole game ban or even a Roblox ban because that is unacceptable that many players are suffering from this issue and it seems like the community of the devs don't care, if we want the game to be better and be the best it should be then the devs need to hear us out, hear these victims themselves and stop the scamming or hackers, cuz if this is finna continue than that leads to people disliking, hating or even just quitting the game itself or just quitting Roblox itself as well. If we want change than at this point its up to us, the community of players to solve the issue so its not a problem anymore.

I've been playing this game for a while, and so far I've never had the need to exchange one creature for another with the possibility of being scammed, I've already had similar experiences like with the game "Cretures of sonaria" , the difference between the 2 is that in CoS most players are well informed, and unlike Loomian Legacy where most of the creatures are accessible, in Creatures of sonaria instead many are relegated to specific events during the year , not to mention that they feature a new creature almost every week. To conclude, I invite everyone to inform themselves to avoid these hateful situations.

It tells you how you get/would have gotten them. For example if you click on a ghw duskit, it would say "1/16k encounter in Dr haloines nightmare, this loomian is extremely rare!"

Ultimately this kind of thing is very hard to moderate with the possibility of false accusations. Are the developers/moderators lazy? Yes. But it’s also hard because there is always the possibility of false accusations. The only way to fix the issues with trading values is to ban them flat out. Which is one reason I will never play ToT because from what I’ve heard, value based trading is going to be a huge thing in that game and I don’t wanna be part of that mess.

Once during the Rainbow Vari event, after 2 weeks of basically painful hunting, I found a Rainbow Vari that was Pure Clever, so I evolved it into Venolen. I only had it for 6 days before a guy said he would give me a Gleam ice Mutagon for it and I went first thinking that the second trade was where he was gonna give me the Mutagon, but then he left the game, and I was left without my valuable Loomians and I never got the Mutagon either. I was so upset that I tried to find a second Rainbow Vari but I wasn't able to

To be fair, that was on you. NO reason to expect the guy to provide you the Mutagon when you gave up your trading power right away. The whole point is for both traders to trade at the SAME time. Trading your offer first and then waiting on a second trade is just asking for failure. Not defending that scammer but why would you think that it's a multi trade process when the game designs it for both traders to provide their offers at the same time.

That ain't how trading works bro. That was an obvious scam. Nobody does a single trade where you give them the item and then do a whole different trade and then they give you the other item. That makes no sense. That one's on you.

Back in 2021, i traded my ghwd(green, frail nimble) for 4 gr because he lied about value and told me its a w. Ik who has the duskit today but its worth around 1k.

As much as I don’t like the fact the people don’t get their loomians back after a scam (like honestly why let the scammer keep the loomians they basically stole from someone), I think this is for the better. Like if someone gets scammed, they should get their loomians back, no doubt about it, but when it comes to sharking, you have no one to blame but yourself. Like, who’s to say that the very same person who got sharked won’t get sharked again? I recall a situation like this where someone got sharked out of a very rare loomian, got some LL RUclipsrs involved to get it back, and then got sharked again. I know it sounds bad, but I feel some people who were fine with the trade were to find out that the thing they traded was worth more, they could claim that they were sharked to get it back and trade it for something better. I mean something like that already happens with old Mario Plushies, where at first they’re sold for like less than $50 or smth, and then sold for more than $120 because they found out it was worth more. Basically, I don’t think sharking should be something the sharker gets banned for.

I got scammed for my gleam lifeguard shark pod with rev up at the beginning of the2024 anniversary, event and I got told what I was receiving something same worth and it wasn’t even close (it was a gamma stratasaur

😭😭😭 so many implications and inconsistencies that come with this, the games been out for years, imagine people trying to explain how they got scammed 4 years ago, having to delete the dudes loomian, give the other dude the loomains, which has probably already been traded through to other people, adding this system isn't going to make it better for people who have already gotten banned which is just going to make it unfair, guess it would be better for future people that get scammed but there's even more problems with that, people can fake stuff, get people banned when they did nothing, it's just not a good system that can be abused easily
Not really a way to get it back even if they do add a way to return it. Because if it was traded to someone else legitimately, what do they do then? Take it off the unassuming person and give it back to you? That's gonna cause a lot of problems

I lost a gamma fab kyeggo a couple years back to sharking from a big LL content creator (not going to name them) and when asked Serxia for help, she told me that there was nothing they could realistically do and I should be careful with who I trade. After that she blocked me.

ive never been scammed with loomians but i have been with pokemon cards. in 4th grade there were a bunch of pqople trading cards there was one guy who said if i gave him my charizard hed give me a corviknight i really wanted a corviknight and i had lots of charizards but he didnt have the corviknight at the time so i trusted him and gave him the charizard (he also gave me a few other random cards that i didnt really care about. then the next day i asked him if he brought the corviknight he said he forgot, the next day i asked him again and he said that his dad got it for him for his birthday or christmas or some bs but my 10 year old brain didnt think he would scam me so i asked him to ask his dad if he can a day or two later he said his dad wouldnt let him and DIDNT GIVE ME ANYTHING BACK he just gave me a blastoise i was pretty pissed and now i think about it i shouldve told the teachers
