It’s rare to see a solar power station video with absolutely no technical flubs but I didn’t see any in this. Kudos on quality content. Using something like this to keep a furnace running and food safe in the fridge covers the hardest preparedness technical challenges.
Very nice presentation. After comparing the Bluetti and EcoFlow units, I chose an EcoFlow Delta 2 plus the Delta 2 MAX extra battery for a total of 3 Kwh storage. Found the combo at Goodwill, new in the box. Later bought a duplicate refurbished system on eBay from EcoFlow at a discount. I can control both at the same time from either WiFi or Bluetooth. Plan to later buy the Wave 2 to heat and cool my house and the Edge to automatically keep my yard quietly mowed. FYI: Kris at the CityPrepping channel just compared the more popular solar systems and showed the strengths snd wesknesses of each. Thank you for the informative presentation on a high quality setup I know you will enjoy for many years. I look forward to your comparison when you receive a similar EcoFlow system you announced earlier. I always look forward to your informative, no nonsense videos. Nice work!
Looks like a decent setup for those who aren't diy capable. This system is very small, and strictly for camping and limited short term emergencies. For the $1900 pricetag, you could build a very powerful system strong enough to run your home for years. This is the equipment for a diy "solar generator" 3... 300w Solar panels 1...1200w Charge controller 8...12v deep cycle marine batteries 1...2000w inverter 100ft...10g wire And a couple of other things...10g lugs and 20 amp solar breakers
I debated bluetti and EcoFlow. I went with the EcoFlow after it all. Just ordered the EcoFlow bluzone a.c. Unit with extra battery. So I can stay cool and warm if need be! But it was a hard decision but don’t think I would’ve went wrong with either one.
Ty Eric for the info. Will have to show this to me hubby. Central NC Loses power for nothing . With humid summers and well water it’s horrible. Can do winters but not southern summers.
I just bought one, for home and Camper use. Its high end quality but when on sale its a bargain, i just did save over 500. But what sold me was the portability and IP65 while out there. BUUUT, it does not put out 240v no matter how configured. SOOOO if you really want a home system that u dont have to fumble around with extension cords, get the 300 or 500 with ATS or passthrough setup, but my next one for whole house will most likely be the Pecron 3600 or Bluetti 240v config of a 300 or 500 system. these 3 are kinda heavy to drag in and out of my Camper, my B van, and my House. I almost went with the Pecron, almost 2 times the Watt hours, twice the peak for AC units, and cost about the same, but it was well over 100 pounds, which was too heavy but perfect if your not going to take it in and out of Campers, no IP65 dust and water protection either. Maybe i buy a Pecron when they work out some bugs, keep in the Bvan or camper, use the Bluetti for Home use, although its only good for a few 110v circuits I can make it work for emergency setups.
the best small portable is my Runhood 600wh with 4 energy Bars. like bringing a lunchbox with you and can power any portable device for the weekend. the energy bars are stand alone power supplies and fit perfectly into the Main Runhood unit. with the 2 solar panels that go with it, i could be off grid forever, excluding AC units, but include cooler, fridge, fans, laptop, etc. the Runhood Design with evergy bars is genius and hot swappable. if they had a unit that could do 3500w surge for 1500btu AC units i would buy in an instant. sure u would need about 6 EB324 energy bars but i dont care, its the most perfect design i have ever seen. the hot swapping would be perfect if there was a charging station that could do them 2 at a time.
All of mine are bluetti. Have the ac200max with the 30amp plug and it plugs into my transfer switch and can power my well pump or anything in the home.
Can always get warm but not the other way around. I guess growing up in NY we knew how to get warm and the summers were not humid 24/7 like in the south.
Hi Eric and family its Richard here.... I have unconnected a full solar system with 300W of solar and 4 x deep cycle 120ah batteries more than enough for my Pc setup, fridge and freezer while bugging in and transferable to a RV for when i need to bug out..... Ps i put my name due to youtube only showing @user
Does this unit need to be tuned up at anytime and where do you take it to? Same with Battery, simular to a car battery it goes out you have no extra power for main unit so your SOL with that right?
Have you ever used bluetti customer service? They SUCK !! Good luck if you have a problem. Service is everything about a company if you enjoy talking to non english speaking asians your at the right place. Good luck

Ecoflow is way better bluetti customer service is terrible hope no one ever needs to use them beware
@@tonyb.5768 yes I’m 100% satisfied with my EcoFlow and customer service has been great as well and speak English which is always a blessing

Awesome review. This answered so many questions for us and we will now be more confident in buying a solar geneator. Thank you so much.
Hand pump is the way to go
Just got one, too. Big load of my mind
I love my solar generator, I use microwave mr,coffee lamps I pad cell phones it charges from the car while driving. Electric blanket fan & more. 👍

One thing to help move them around is use a cart like for welding tanks, something with big wheels.

Thanks!
I have the AC200MAX & EB3A. My third solar generator is a No Name from Amazon. The AC200MAX is heavy for an old man.
Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Can you do a comparison of the Bluetti and Mango generators.
How long does the lithium battery last before you need to replace?
Does this unit need to be tuned up at anytime and where do you take it to? Same with Battery, simular to a car battery it goes out you have no extra power for main unit so your SOL with that right?
Is this EMP proof; screen & connectors?
If the grid is down how will a cell phone work to control the output?
Just starting to think about a solar generator. Need to pump water for horses. Maybe a hand pump hydrant??
I would love to have one
Great vid my friend!
What is the air conditioner u showed in the video
Hi nice presentation can you give us an idea of pricing and more add-ons if need be thank you
If we have an EMP will solar still work? Fried like everything else?
Nice system but how much does it cost over 3.200 bucks ????
what does the average person do that cannot afford these generators
Now can this be charged by a wind turbine 12 volt system since you can charge it in a car?
We had to go modular, over time, by getting smaller ones as we could afford them.
How long would it run a regular fridge or a well pump?
Which solar generator would you recommend to light up your house?
I thought you were all in on a Mango system
Have you ever used bluetti customer service? They SUCK !! Good luck if you have a problem. Service is everything about a company if you enjoy talking to non english speaking asians your at the right place. Good luck
What is the smallest size to run a well pump?
Is this Blueti EMP HARDENED?
That's what I want to know . If the EMP takes out the grid and Solar , you still have nothing .
No.
You'd have to keep it disconnected in a faraday cage to keep it safe.
@@dukehoffman124 I invested in some EMP proof fabric (ie faraday type protection) for mine. Fingers crossed.
I’ve got a gas furnace so how would one integrate something for that?
Consult an electrician, well worth it.
It can be done. I can think of two ways. But, definitely find a good electrician to help you.
Love your furry friend.
