I just started reading Into the Wild for the first time last night. 20 pages in so far and am already really liking it. I just go to library’s but I’m gonna ask to get dawn of the clans, mothflights vision, skyclans destiny, thunder stars echo, and eclipse, and tall stars revenge permanently.

I am on the sixth book in the second series and I really want to know if I have ro read any super edition before I read the third series? 🤔
Sorry for the late reply. You do not need to read any of the super editions or novellas to understand the third, fourth, and for the most part fifth arcs. After that some of the super editions become required reading to understand the full story for arcs six and seven.
Hey! How did you get your individual editions of dovewing's silence and ravenpaw's farewell? Have you seen any other copies of other novellas in a similar format?
I found them on ThriftBooks used. I’ve seen some on places like eBay and other sites dealing with used books too. They can be hard to find and their prices are a bit wild, most fluctuate drastically but I was able to get the ones I have on the lower end about $10 USD or less. Some listings are completely outrageous at hundreds of dollars, they aren’t worth that at all. I’ve seen Hollyleaf’s Story (which I now have) and that one fluctuates a lot, I’ve also seen Mapleshade’s Vengeance and that fluctuates but usually seen it pricy, I’ve seen Goosefeather’s Curse but I’ve only found very expensive listings, I’ve seen Leafpool’s Wish a few times but don’t remember prices and I haven’t actually seen live listing of Cloudstar’s Journey, Mistystar’s Omen or Tigerclaw’s Fury but I know they’re out there. I’ve not seen any past the first three novella collections. I think they might have been made for libraries and reviewers so they’d have physical copies, I’ve also heard some people say they’re illegal printings but some things just don’t add up. Honestly not sure what to think about their origins but they exist out there somehow. Probably would be a lot easier and much cheaper to just print out the ebook and bind it into a book yourself if you want or pick up a cheap used copy of one of the collections and rebind it into three separate books. You could even make then hardcover if you wish. Book binding can be done on a budget at home and you can customize however you like just don’t sell it, the publisher will not like that.
@@aLostNym Sorry for the SUPER late response, but yes, they are bootlegs!! They were published through amazons (now discontinued) self-publishing/printing service. What's in The Warriors Guide? From what I've read on the wiki it just looks like a different version of Secrets of the Clans. Is there any new content in it? I own every book other than that but only in one copy and I'd like to know if it's worth finding The Barnes and Noble exclusive
Actually I thought it was Secrets of the Clans with SkyClan thrown in for the longest time because that’s how people talked about it and I had never really looked through the book despite having it until the other night. I was collecting data for a video and I noticed a few things about it. It doesn’t just pull from Secrets but also Code and Battles, there’s hardly any short stories in it unless it has to for info so the book is all just info. It also has the Warriors Adventure Game rules and character sheet examples, Omen of the Stars and Battles of the Clans had scenarios for the game in the back of their books but you had to go to the old website to find the rules (which you can’t do now since the website changed and didn’t bring it over). There’s also a number of journal pages in the very back, which I think might be the only truly new thing about it. It’s actually really handy and I would have recommended it to people if I had known what it really was about and encouraged people to buy them when they were in print if they just wanted info in a size that is far more easier to carry around and/or wanted the Adventure Game rules in an actual book. If any of that interests you you should try to find a used copy, not sure how easy that would be since I got mine New Years ago and never looked for used copies before. I might end up making a video about this misunderstood book eventually.
I really don’t understand why the uk have a different covers, I live in the uk and I’d like to get the old American edition but the shipping cost way to much 😤
Various places. Different book stores, Amazon, eBay, BookDepository, ThriftBooks, thrift stores, library sales, garage/yard/estate sales and gifts from family and friends. I remember where/how exactly I acquired most of them so if there’s a specific book(s) you want to know where I got it from I probably can tell you where.
Hello! I love warriors a lot, I’ve been reading the books since late 2015 and have all the books but still have the newer additions to read 😁 I was wondering how you managed to get your foreign editions of the books, specifically your Russian editions. I’m currently learning Russian and I thought it would be a brilliant idea to purchase the Russian editions of Warriors but the thing is, I don’t know where to buy them since I live in the UK (Scotland) Where did you manage to get yours? 🥺
I’ve used a combination of Amazon, eBay, and used book sites like Thriftbooks to find the foreign editions I have. The prices are all over the place with them though so I tend to set a limit of how much I’m willing to spend for a book. Shipping can also cost a lot depending on where the books are coming from.
I’ve never really had a problem sticking them back in, but if I do I stick the first and sixth in first and move in so the middle books are last. It’s easier to stick the books on the ends first so you’re not accidentally forcing a book in and catching parts of the box which can cause damage to both. Some boxes are more snug than others so it can cause a bit of frustration but as long as the books don’t get too misshapen you should be able to fit them back.
What I really want is volume one in Japanese. 😍 as someone aspiring to learn the language, I would adore reading my favorite book in the language I want to learn.
I'm probably getting a lot of warriors books for Christmas :D and Crookedstar's promise, Tallstar's revenge, Yellowfang's Secret, Crowfeather's trial, I might get Dawn of the clans in hardcover :D Rise of scoruge, Graystripe's adventure 3 book Bind-up Full color, Warriors Enter the clans, Warriors The ultimate guide, Squirrelflight's hope (Maybe) I think that is all Notes: What is the difference of the UK warriors books and the USA warriors books? Edit: I already have the sun Trail in hardcover. And I have finished the whole entire book of the sun Trail, Even the bonus scence.
There used to be a difference early on in Warriors, but as of now the only difference is when there’s Barnes & Noble exclusive editions in the US. There is no differences anymore other than that.
I have a question about the Barnes and Noble exclusives if you don't mind. I'm not sure if the ones on the website have the bonus scenes because the images aren't depicted with the exclusive label nor is there mention in the description. I was wondering where you got yours, whether from a physical Barnes and Noble, the website, or somewhere else, and if you know whether the website has them.
Unlike a lot of other Barnes and Noble exclusive editions the Warriors ones were only limited quantity so they were taken down and replaced with regular editions when they ran out. They were sold in store and on the website, on the website you’d go to the book’s page, click editions and there’d be an option for the exclusive but that option doesn’t show up anymore. I believe I bought all of mine in store but I know people bought from the website and got them. The whole exclusive thing was so unfair for so many and the fact that there was only one printing makes it worse. You might be able to find someone selling it used but that may be hard to find unless the seller makes a note of it in the listing or shows actual pictures of the book. Used book sites most likely won’t have it listed any different than the regular copy.
@@aLostNym Thank you so much. Your collection is awesome. I'm currently collecting books too after losing so many when moving and videos like these are satisfying to look at. (Probably not going to be as expansive, just old American hardcovers and the ones only in new covers, as there's others besides Warriors I want to get.) A shame that not everyone can have the exclusive scenes, especially when some of them are pretty integral, like Needlepaw's. I hope I can find them when I get to them, as right now I'm getting the books in order.)
Thank you. I have an update for the collection coming soon-ish, I just keep procrastinating renovating my shelves which is needed since I’ve run out of room. Good news about the American hardcovers of older books, the new printings still have the original art so they’re very easy to acquire unlike the old paperbacks. I really enjoy hearing about other people collecting as well and I wish you great success in collecting! Yeah there was a lot of talk about the bonus scenes when they were making them about them being integral to the story when only a fraction of the fans could actually acquire them, thankfully there’s a lot of really kind people in the community who have posted the scenes online for anyone to read and I believe more kind people have translated them into different languages so even more people can read them.
Great collection!!! So big!! The only place I’ve ever seen a main series book bind up is in my school library, and they have into the wild-forest Of secrets in one book then rising Storm - the darkest hour in one book, but it’s in French so I can’t read it. I’ve never seen a English bindup IRL Y are de Spanish and German covers de same? UR COLLECTION IS SO FREAKIN BIIIIIIIGGGGGGG
At used stores and sites. I mostly found them on ThriftBooks but I’ve seen them other places too. Also found one in a local thrift store. They usually cost under $10 USD since they aren’t in demand, if you find a listing that’s asking for a lot just wait for another one. Sometimes the bind ups are called POB so a listing might be Warriors POB #2 or Warriors Bind up #2 or Warriors Forest of Secrets and Rising Storm. They only did these for the first two arcs so the numbers only go up to #6 when listed by number.
Where did you get your shelves? They are beautiful! Also you inspire me so much with your collection! I didn't even know they made the bindups for the first and second arcs, so I just bought the first one today!
Shalea Reece The shelves are the Kallax from IKEA with a couple of the dividers taken out. I’m so happy to be able to inspire someone! Thank you for the really nice comment!
The regular hardcovers? I mainly got them all used, from book sales, yard sales and used book websites. You can still order the hardcovers in McLoughlin’s covers new.
I have the the 1st 4 arcs in paper back, dawn of the clans in hardcover(original artwork) and most of the super editions and field guides, and 2 of the manga. I will be getting avos soon.
Hey senior warriors fans, I have a question. I just finished prophecy begins. Should I get firestars quest or continue with the first book of the second series, midnight?
You can get the ebook novellas are 3 book bind ups physically. As for getting them stand alone like I have of Ravenpaw’s Farewell, I found it on a used book site. They are hard to find and prices vary drastically.
It depends on which arc you are reading. The earlier ones can be read without bothering with Super Editions, novellas or mangas. The later arcs like A Vision of Shadows and The Broken Code have some Super Editions or novellas that need to be read to get the whole story. As for reading them in order, well it’ll make the most sense to read them in order except for Dawn of the Clans which can be read at any time since it’s a prequel.
The bind-up of two books? You can sometimes find them where used books are sold, best bet is used book websites. But can also be found in physical stores sometimes like used book stores or thrift stores. Some online listings will list them as just bind-up or pob bind-up, sometimes with the individual titles in the listing or just as #1, #2, or #3. The price varies but you can usually find them for under $10, if you see them for ridiculous prices just wait and a new listing for a more affordable price will pop up. They only did these bind-ups for the first 2 arcs, The Prophecies Begin and The New Prophecy.
I get them online from sites like ThriftBooks, Amazon, eBay, and the like. I would love to have a lot more but a lot of them are ridiculously expensive and out of my price range or they are hard to find someplace online that’d ship to the US
Oh that’s a great idea! Thank you! I’ll have do some rereading to determine some of these, but I was planning on rereading the series anyway. I haven’t made a video in a while partly due to mental health but more so that my phone, which I use to record, has been acting up and I don’t have the money to replace it or get a proper camera at this time. There’s some alternatives I could do, but so far I’m either not satisfied with the results or I need to do some more work to get things right.
Russ. Oh, ok. I might as well give you my favorites. Super editions- crookedstars promise. Novellas- Shadows of the clan. Mangas- I need “skyclan and the stranger” and “tiger star and shasha”, “The rise of scourge” is being shipped. But so far Graystripes adventure is my favorite.
The Prophecies Begin is one of my favorite arcs of the series. Did you order the old or new covers? Except for some rare instances the cover types doesn’t change the actual words in the books. The biggest difference is sometimes the newer covers reveal scenes or character(s) that appear in that book.
True, true. Both covers are pretty good. I’ve been debating making a series, either video or thread/post on another site, comparing the old and new covers for years. But it wouldn’t be “I like this cover better” or “which is the better artist”. It would be more of the breakdown of the covers, whose on it, if it depicts a scene/character that could be considered a spoiler, etc. I don’t think I’ve seen something quite like that before but it’d be an undertaking as that’s over 30 books to compare.
More like around 80, exact number depends on if you count certain bind-ups of individually released books like with the original ebook novellas, the full colored manga trilogies or the repackaged field guides. For main books there’s 39 out currently, 40th will release next month and the 13th Super Edition released last month. Not the longest series out there but one of the longest modern series in its category right now.
Wow u lucky to have those this is my collection The Prophecies begin (new cover) Into the Wild Fire and Ice Forest of Secrets Rising Storm A Dangerous path The Darkest hour The New Prophecy (new cover) Midnight Moonrise Dawn Starlight Twilight Sunset Power of Three (new cover) The Sight Dark river Outcast Eclipse Long Shadows Sunrise A Vision of shadows (new cover) The Apprentice quest Super Editions Skyclans destiny Novella Shadows of the clans (My first one and I got it today!) I’ve used a combination of Amazon, eBay, and used book sites like Thriftbooks to find the foreign editions I have. The prices are all over the place with them though so I tend to set a limit of how much I’m willing to spend for a book. Shipping can also cost a lot depending on where the books are coming from.
How did you get all the books to fit in the box sets? I have the first series as a box set and after I opened and read them only 5 fit back in.
@@aLostNym I’ll try that! Thanks for the advice
What I really want is volume one in Japanese. 😍 as someone aspiring to learn the language, I would adore reading my favorite book in the language I want to learn.
That would be so cool!
I'm probably getting a lot of warriors books for Christmas :D and Crookedstar's promise, Tallstar's revenge, Yellowfang's Secret, Crowfeather's trial, I might get Dawn of the clans in hardcover :D
Rise of scoruge, Graystripe's adventure 3 book Bind-up Full color,
Warriors Enter the clans, Warriors The ultimate guide,
Squirrelflight's hope (Maybe)
I think that is all
Notes: What is the difference of the UK warriors books and the USA warriors books?
Yeah there was a lot of talk about the bonus scenes when they were making them about them being integral to the story when only a fraction of the fans could actually acquire them, thankfully there’s a lot of really kind people in the community who have posted the scenes online for anyone to read and I believe more kind people have translated them into different languages so even more people can read them.
you really deserve a lot more subscribers
Yeah. And this video needs more likes
Yeah, that's true!
Great collection!!! So big!!
The only place I’ve ever seen a main series book bind up is in my school library, and they have into the wild-forest Of secrets in one book then rising Storm - the darkest hour in one book, but it’s in French so I can’t read it. I’ve never seen a English bindup IRL
Y are de Spanish and German covers de same?
UR COLLECTION IS SO FREAKIN BIIIIIIIGGGGGGG
I dont know which organ i would give for a collection like that, jeez.
7:59 best moment xD
Ive only got 2 series and im hoping to collect the rest! im so far onto book 3, and im so excited to read more!
Where did you find the bind ups ? I'd love to buy them and I wish they didn't stop making them.
@@aLostNym You're welcome :)
Wow! That's so cool! For Now I only have 26, and 2 Bravelands books
Update please! 💖 Loge watching this! 💖💖💖💖
I know this video is like a year old but where did you find hard covers for the prophecies begin?
The regular hardcovers? I mainly got them all used, from book sales, yard sales and used book websites. You can still order the hardcovers in McLoughlin’s covers new.
That’s a lot of books
I have only one warrior cats books I have the new paperback of into the wild
Wafflegacha 57 I feel bad for you
Where did you get that bookshelf?
Kitten Mitten The bookcase is the Kallax bookcase from IKEA, just with some of the dividers taken out on top.
I have the the 1st 4 arcs in paper back, dawn of the clans in hardcover(original artwork) and most of the super editions and field guides, and 2 of the manga. I will be getting avos soon.
The German Covers are the best 😃
In my opinion the polish ones are the best, but i respect your opinion!
It must be hard read all warrior cat books
I love your Warriors book collection
ooo where did you get that Fire and Ice copy at 4:00 - 4:05?
I got it off eBay. You can sometimes find different editions for a reasonable price on there.
Hey senior warriors fans, I have a question.
I just finished prophecy begins. Should I get firestars quest or continue with the first book of the second series, midnight?
lovable Megan You can do either, just make sure to read Firestar’s Quest before you start Power of Three.
@@aLostNym ok thanks!
This semi click-baited me, I thought it was 159 books in the series when I found out there was only 85 different books I was sad ;-;
ONLY?What do you mean ONLY?85 is a lot!
Twi Pie if you go to the website there is only 85, my collection must be lacking a lot
How do u get the. Ebooks like Ravenpaw's Farewell where u have it as a book u don't need to read online? Edit: Not the 3 book bind up
You can get the ebook novellas are 3 book bind ups physically. As for getting them stand alone like I have of Ravenpaw’s Farewell, I found it on a used book site. They are hard to find and prices vary drastically.
Have you gotten a few more books after you made this video? And if so which ones?
I’ve gotten several more books since I made this video, just waiting for a few more to arrive before filming an update.
@@aLostNym ok. Can't wait to see the updated collection! 👍 ❤
Why are the books in the other countries bigger than the USA books of warrior cats?
It depends, sometimes they use thicker paper but usually it’s because the translation is longer in another language than it is in English.
@@aLostNym ohhh ok thanks :)
Do I have to read super editions in between books or can I just read it after all the series?????
Also,do you have to read them in order?pls help
It depends on which arc you are reading. The earlier ones can be read without bothering with Super Editions, novellas or mangas. The later arcs like A Vision of Shadows and The Broken Code have some Super Editions or novellas that need to be read to get the whole story. As for reading them in order, well it’ll make the most sense to read them in order except for Dawn of the Clans which can be read at any time since it’s a prequel.
2:28 Where can I get this edition? :D
It cant get anymore op than this-
But seriously where do u get the foreign ones
I get them online from sites like ThriftBooks, Amazon, eBay, and the like. I would love to have a lot more but a lot of them are ridiculously expensive and out of my price range or they are hard to find someplace online that’d ship to the US
Russ, Thank you. I get all of my warriors books from thrift books
Now i have 225 all book of Erin Hunter
I want the whole series
I can’t compare holy shit
I only have the prophecirs begin cause i'm new to the fandom! But i'll get more books :3
I’ve never heard of the bind ups
Not a lot of people have heard of or seen them. They are hard to find as they are out of print now
Russ, thank you. You should do a video on your favorite book in every arc, super edition, novella, manga and field guide. That would be a great video.
I have a question did you read any of the books
the surviving Puerto Rico I’ve read the whole series.
@@aLostNym ok
I ordered the whole Prophecy Begins two days ago. I’m so impatient I want them now.
*i just want my books*
The Prophecies Begin is one of my favorite arcs of the series. Did you order the old or new covers? Except for some rare instances the cover types doesn’t change the actual words in the books. The biggest difference is sometimes the newer covers reveal scenes or character(s) that appear in that book.
Russ I ordered the new covers because my parents wouldn’t get the old one but hey! Warriors is Warriors!
Russ you should do it! And yea there’s a lot of books to cover. Isn’t there like, *over 50 of them?*
First, I love your collection but are you learning Chinese, Spanish, Russian, German, French?

Sorry, I don’t actually know Russian. I just like collecting foreign editions that are easy to get my hands on.
I have Chinese books too!
Compared to the rest, our Russian edition seems very strange, especially illustrations. Why don't we have such a beautiful design?! 😭
I find the Russian editions to be very cool! They are unique and I would love to have more in my collection if they were easier to get for an affordable price.
