I cancelled my first cycle and went back for baselines the next month and had huge follicles. These were likely a rebound effect. I was then advised to come back cd21 for a luteal phase start but my cd1 came that day (early). I kept my 8/23 appt and started stims. I have 7 follicles ranging 7-9mm and a large 29 one. I took stims for 7 days and none budged except the large one got to 36mm and was gone on my 7th day of stim appt. I asked for a fsh lvl and it’s 26. I believe there is correlation to high fsh and stunning the follicle growth when given IVF meds. I took Clomid 100 and foll 400u for 5 days and days 6 and 7 just the follistem. RE called to cancel this cycle but I asked to stop the meds for 3 day and go back Monday to see if I have a rebound growth. I hope more studies are done on this for low amh, dor, high fsh pts. I’m 39 and have been ttc x3 years. Zero positive preg in my history.

I did 2 medicated cycles and stopped to take a break. This month I ovulated and had an abundance of cervical mucus that I haven't seen since my 20's. There could be something to rebounding after several medicated cycles.

What about the benefit on follicles in a 2nd egg retrieval when performed right after the 1st?
