- Dr. Norbert Gleicher of the Center for Human Reproduction in New York City explains the three clinical trials on PRP (platelet-rich plasma) use for fertility purposes. The newest PRP trial, PRP3, is designed to test the hypothesis that injecting PRP into the ovaries of women with diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) might help them produce more eggs in IVF cycles. In the other two PRP clinical trials, CHR is investigating whether PRP injections into the ovaries can "reawaken" the dormant follicles in women who cannot produce eggs at all in IVF cycles. So, how do we know if THERE ARE any dormant follicles left?
I did mine in Greece, I initially had 6 follicles and after PRP I had 9. Just beware that it last around 5-7 months so don't do like me where I waited before doing IVF treatment because my dad died a month after my PRP and my mind was all over the place to start the treatment already.

Do you recommend PRP for women who have had mutiple failed IVF cycles resulting in abnormal embryos? Our current doctor is recommended use of donor egg. I was hoping for another chance before we decide that route.

What about taking nmn? You need to take it with TMG and its not cheap for third party tested but it's worth a try.
I would like to try PRP. I am 42. I think to combine taking DHEA and do PRP. It should work!

@@shania7450 at Islamabad Pakistan it done. Some days before there was spotting due to infection but now my heavy periods started. Since last year my menstrual cycle was disturb. There was no periods without medicine. If I use medicine then periods came otherwise no period. After prp now its normally started

I did PRP on my both knees to fix some osteoarthritis. And my knees blew up a week after the procedure. I could not even walk. I have rheumatoid arthritis (RA). I then had to do two arthroscopic surgeries, one on each knee, to surgically remove the inflammation, costing my insurance over $100,000! Since then I also now on biologics medication to control RA flare on my knees, which costs my insurance $5,500 per month! Please be careful before you do PRP on anything. It is not clinically proven to work, and it can do more irreversible damage than good.

Blew up? ❤ Gosh. I am so sorry you had to go through this and it’s awesome your insurance was so amazing. PRP injections are made up of your own cells and plasma, so I wonder why you had the reaction you did? Did any doctor ever have an explanation or opinion?
If you have RA then your body produces anti bodies against something in your knee joint (ccp on proteins). So it kinda makes sense that injecting your plasma in might make it way worse. Sorry it happened to you 😮 I wonder if the same risk might apply with my auto immunity and ovaries

Its not painful because you must be put under using anesthesia so actually you don't notice anything.

PRP doesn’t work for egg quality but to increase AMH. Is that true? Seems like everyone with low ovarian reserve did PRP. But what if you don’t have low AMH?

I am 43 with 6 kids and my last child I have got a tubal reversal and got pg in a month and not I am unable to fall pg because of low ovarian reserve its 0.336 was 0.064 so it raised aware of every month is different I am taking letrozole 2.5 two pills for 5 days which is 5 mg letrozole and my cycles are off just last week I had a saline solution put into me not a hsg test but the one they look for polyps and fibroids and said everything looked good and saw some follicles on my ovaries but I haven't had a cycle this month at all so do you think prp will work for me and I take many supplements maca, vitex, sunflower lecithin, folic acid and flaxseed oil, ovaboost, and fertility support by gaia herbs

You might still be absolutely fine to conceive naturally, if you haven't tried yet. Amh doesn't correlate at all with chance of getting pregnant naturally
