I did a similar bilge pump bracket in my boat. The pump is held on with nylon machine screws and nuts to avoid any corrosion issues, but it works perfectly for keeping the pump in place.
Wow, when you get the "final adjustments" made ... those kits will make big changes, esp stowage, for jon boats. Man, just to that stage alone takes a bunch of time. Nice work!!! Be Safe
