12:19 Either that's audible vent noise or the vent tube is rattling against the front baffle :P
My 1996 Zenith SRW-711B also has issues with vent noise if you push it rather hard, and it's a powered 4th Order Bandpass with a single 6-½" Quadral Woofer inside, which fires into the sealed cavity. You can see the ferrite magnet looking into the vent tube, as well as the amplifier board and power transformer and all that.
It is pushed by a tiny ST Sing TDA2030A class A/B Amplifier, which provides 18W into the 4 Ohm Woofer @ 16V. The amplifier is fed by a full-wave bridge rectifier which converts DC to AC, and then into 120V AC via power transformer.
Unlike most examples you see on the web, mine has a power switch (which illuminates at switch-on) on the front, which I think is pretty convenient. It also implies that I have one of their rare earlier units before Zenith (OEM of Lucky Goldstar at the time) further cheapened out for cost production savings in 1997.
Here you can take a look at what's inside this "subwoofer": photos.app.goo.gl/8a1MDYjrcQYzPQLF7
And here, you can take a listen from close-up, and from afar, including a couple other clips: photos.app.goo.gl/J6aWJ2XyXHcphJvy8
I also have the original front, center & rear channel speakers, all of which are in good working condition. The only thing I do not have is the original Zenith Z711B "Dolby Pro Logic" "Receiver". However I'm going to pass on that thing since the examples I see on eBay are asking for more than it's worth, and it isn't even DPL II. It's small, but probably just poorly engineered junk anyway.
I bought all six speakers at my local Humane Society Second-hand store, known as "ReTails", for $8 despite the $14.99 price sticker which I never bothered to remove. I thought I'd give them a good home since they appear to have had been sitting on the shelves for a lil' while, just collecting dust. I guess the cash register just wanted 'em gone or something like that.
Well, that's all I have to say about 'em. Hope you enjoyed the read! 😊

The problem with this unit is the vent tube glue dried out and cracked allowing the vent to be moved in and out. It slipped a little when I was reassembling the subwoofer. It's fixed now. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video.

These older Sony Audio Video Control Center Receivers do have a Subwoofer output.

Awesome tv, can you reply with the make and model?
It looks exactly like the TV my dad used to have. Watched lots of WWE Smackdown with him on that as a kid :)

Hey man, I'm sorry I'm back in VA now. I'll see if I remember the next time I'm home.
