Its almost like he's an entitled corrupt narcissist who feels justified punishing those who don't adore him (which is pretty much all Canadians at this point minus anyone bought off with public funds) and fully deserving of every corrupt dollar he earns in office by selling out the population (and stands to profit once he's out of office per the back-room deals for $ consulting engagements, speaker tours, and board seats) -- as he view himself and his family as Canadian royalty after all and such is his entitlement
How, exactly, did he create a problem that has been going on since the 80s? Did you forget how under Harper's government 47% of Canadians were living paycheque to paycheque (Globe and Mail, 2012)? Did you forget how Pierre Poilievre got rid of 800,000 affordable homes when he was housing minister? And if you're really suggesting that 0.13% of Canadians that will have to pay a little more from the Capital Gains Inclusion Rate increase is unfair, the same increase that Brian Mulroney, leader of the Progressive Conservatives did in 1988, then you're completely off base.

Well, it was Canadians who voted for him. Enough were stupid enough to do so for the "free" stuff. Immigrants in particular, as their connection to Canada is tenuous. The one to vote for is the one who says it's going to be worse, as the only way out of bankruptcy is tightening the belt (no more "free" stuff, cutting federal staff-grown vastly to administer all the "free" programs). Somehow I doubt that Canadians of today are willing to face reality and will allow the last remnants to be sold off cheaply to foreigners and will settle for being stoned serfs.
You should see what the cons have done in Ontario.... talk about over spending when doug Ford have him and his friends huge raises.

My mom is 66, worked since she was 17, raised two kids, could never afford to own a home, and currently still works for a wage which has the same buying power as what she made in 1995. Maybe you should shut your yap...for once!

I'm both a doctor and an entrepreneur in my early 30s, and I assure you, the sentiment is the same amongst my peers. Most of my network are making plans to LEAVE Canada within the next 5 years. Canada is no longer a place that encourages innovation and growth for the educated and hardworking middle class.
