This is why the talking heads on TV are not worth watching. When Purdy has a game with an INT or two, they say he is trash; he's terrible. They never talk about how the offense is thriving on these high-risk throws. When you live on the edge taking risky throws, you're going to get into trouble sometimes, and that's life. Chiefs play a lot of zone just like the Cowboys and Phily did. People are underestimating the 49ers I think. 49ers have a harder time with man coverage.
Diehard 49ers fan since 1983. I’ve seen enough. Drew Brees mentioned similarities. Brock needs a Sean Peyton/Drew Brees offense. As mentioned by the qb school, Kyle’s passing concepts are blah, not liked. Brock only has one real wr going out on plays. His offensive line is horrific, in a passing league.
Brock also has to watch his throw trajectory as defenders have been batting down or tipping a good number of his passes. Has he solved for that vulnerability? Defenses seem to be exploiting that of late.
Purdy will have to play a perfect game to put up points on this Chiefs defense. I am calling either a low scoring game altogether or a Chiefs on-sided victory.
