I really like the QVB area, the contrast between 19th century building and modern architect is my favourite part. happy to see there are much more new skyscrapers in Sydeny than my time. For my feeling was it much more crowded in the 1980’s when I lived there. Not only with pedestrians but also cars and busses.
It's because George street has changed now. There is Metro Lite Rail (aka Tram) going up and down George Street and (almost) not cars.
I just walked around this area along George Street, Happy New Year 2021 to everybody in the world!
