I had to make the thumbnail before the video was recorded as were off for the holidays, so I asked my locals who they thought got love through the patch :)
maybe i'm biased as a testament player but they feel so incredibly powerful that it's hard for me to imagine them not being top tier, especially with the new 2HS vacuum. but who knows how the meta is gonna end up shaking up a few months down the line
As an I-No player, Youzansen change is giving me real pain. Vacuum on Gio and Testament are also a pain. The changes to I-No's divekick and dash are greatly appreciated.
@@АртёмТор-к2ю depends on who you're playing. If the opponent has blocking it down, sure. If not, the K and S versions are useful. Also good for doing movement tricks
I think Axl will be "that guy" in this patch. The vacuum buffs were the bigger ones in this patch, and Axl is the only one to get it on a move that used to end his offense. He also got many more buffs than Gio or Test
I play I-No and Goldlewis. I-No changes feel nice. Dive changes help make it a better choice more often. And the fireball proximity changes help a lot too. And the hover dash block makes the HC more manageable. Nago feels more manageable, Ram feels the same. I don't think I-No will be much more common from the patch but overall she gained this patch. Except May buffs haha. Goldlewis needed the drone nerf, but it's still pretty strong at level 3. Burn It Down buffs make it more viable, still not sure if it's worth the resources. GL is probably a bit lower than before, but he can still kill you in one hit lol.
as a ky player new 5h go brrrr. Real talk the only match ups I didn't want to play in tournament were axl nago and ram. I counter picked all three with goldlewis because he fought all three pretty well compared to ky. this patch axl is still pretty annoying so far but we'll see there are some things ky can do now with better wall slump access that might push his offense far enough to improve the match up but I kind of doubt it. Nago and ram are a lot more managable now nago actually dies which was the biggest thing before was that he could afford to disrespect ky offense more because he was healthy but if he does that with blood he just explodes 5h can be stun dippered now which is huge. Ram is still pretty tough given that she still just converts better and has more stable offense but it's easier now. I'm optimistic about ram and nago being doable match ups for ky and no one else really feels that bad. Most of ky's match ups are now doable so he's feeling good. Gio is now a more worrying match up though it's probably fine it just was slightly disadvantaged before and it's worrying that she got a lot of new access to damage which was why it was kind of hard before. several characters got pretty buffed but ky did well in the past against those characters and probably still will. bridget may ino were all pretty good match ups before and even with the buffs probably still will be good match ups.
How you gonna put axl in the thumbnail and never say his name?

Damn the callout on like the 5 random Nago players to pull up in top 8 huh, fair enough
we'll never know peace
I think Mays buff Bonanza was cause the risc changes etc hurt her more than anyone, and she wasn't doing great to begin with
I actually think they didn't touch Goldlewis enough. We'll probably see a lot more of him this patch
Faust always been that guy stop playing
Potemkin is op
overly protective
