Hi team! 💜 Hope you enjoyed the setup 😄 If you were interested in hearing more about the life gamification, we have a more in-depth video over at ruclips.net/video/hInwHw4cMpU/видео.html 👌
Hmmm if you’re kind of keeping it in line with RPG aspects maybe somethings like - life strategem / strategem of life (though then it would be SOL which may or may not be ironically true depending on who’s trying it out lmfao) - vitality venture - character campaign - life adventure - could do something with the word experience like experience effect or …something😂 (idk how many times I can say something in one comment)
Pro tip: I really find that “practice makes it better” is true, as an artist, however, it doesn’t mean practice only when you gotta do the job. Take a random piece of paper, warm your hands up before drawing that lines. Spend some time preparing your handwriting as you would run a treadmill when you go to the gym. Practice AND SPECIALLY WARM UP. It makes total difference. Extra: on a boring phone call? Draw some lines. Waiting for something? Put your phone down, scribble a little. Those helped me a lot
THIS! When I was first learning to crochet and had horribly sloppy tension, I just would make random chains until my tension improved. When it came to knitting and having sloppy bind offs… I’d knit a little swatch, bind it off… take out and repeat. And all these little acts release endorphins too. They’re mindless, repetitive tasks. SO GOOD for the brain!
This is so creative! I love it. I'm inspired to do something travel oriented! Destinations instead of weeks. Itinerary instead of schedule. Excursions instead of errands.... 🤔
I love gamification! Anything you post for this theme will be amazing. I am a fantasy writer and love worldbuilding, so this is right up my alley. I would've called the seasons something like acts or parts, since the "season" would confuse me haha. The Dutch door method of gluing/taping the page down is GENIUS. It makes a lot more sense than cutting out and measuring. I can't believe this is the first time I'm seeing it.
The Dutch door trick literally made my jaw drop… I’ve never seen it done that way before, and it’s such a brilliant idea!!! And I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more about this gamification system!
I recently started to gamify my BuJo, too 😁 I'm so curious to see how this affects your everyday journal! For me it was mainly splitting my energy into Health Points (physical energy), Stamina Points (Is that the right word in English?) ("brain energy") and Mana Points (emotional energy). I've assigned my to dos to those categories: monsters are things that mainly require physical energy, while quests mainly require brain energy. Mana is used to counter emotional stress and reloaded by things that calm me down. I also have a system to decide how many quests and monsters I chose to encounter and how possible random encounters effect my points. It is really so much fun! And I gained a way better understanding of my personal ressources within a few weeks. I also turned longterm projects into campaigns with different adventures that contain different quests and monsters. Makes it so much easier to see how much is actually on my plate because I can immediately estimate how much energy I need. Still refining the system though 😂 I started with a character sheet and kind of a level up system which didn't work for me. I might try to incorporate some of your ideas to tweak it. Perhaps it will fit me better after that 😁 As said, I am very curious to hear more about your system! I love the idea and I'd live to see how you make it work for you 😍
@@SaskiaBriar Thank you! I highly recommend it 😁 The process is ever changing 😂 I make adjustments, like, every week atm. But it is so much fun an very versatile 😁
I need to come back and read this again and again. You’ve got a lot of great ideas in this comment. It reminds me of Spoon Theory for chronic illness/pain. You only have so many spoons.
That dutch door hack is exactly what I've been needing for my '25 collection setup. I wound up creating a dutch door on the spread that falls in the center of a signature (y'know, the one where you see the stings holding it all together) so if I cut one page away the other would end up slipping out from under the binding. Thank you so much!...I feel like I leveled up.
I love this theme and the gamification! I love fantasy, DnD, type things and I’ve been struggling so hard with my goals, so this may be the layout to get me to stick to my goals and actually work on them!
I felt the same way! I have some big things coming up that I cannot give up on. My long term health relies on it… and I think gamification will help so much. It’s so hard with ADHD, not to get bored and give up.
My teen is very keen to try this gamification set up. Gamification is a great learning tool, he used it a lot to work through his struggles with Dyscalculia.
🎉Leveled up!! This is cracking me up!! Came across your channel recently, and my cousin actually works for Wizard of the Coast and she just recently told me she was sending me the new guides that she is part of developing and we were talking about how I was actually doing something with RPG character card themed for my digital planner this year and you’ve gone and done it to a whole new level. This is freaking brilliant. I love it. You my dear are a mastermind
I really love this setup. As an active gamer and prefer rpg style games, this is an amazing setup. I may have to borrow some inspiration from this for next year!
Drooling over the cute pages AND the fantasy RPG spread names. Homestead upgrades ahhhh 😍 In the past I have given up on Bullet journalling because of the monthly setups. I just can’t commit to setting up every month. But THIS…the yearly spreads that are all created ahead of time, I can handle this! I have 2 weeks off around Christmas and New Year and will have so much fun creating something like this. I’m so glad your videos were recommended to me! ❤
Something I do with my goals, I feel, is a bit different from what most people do. I do a high and low goal. The low goal being what I know I can achieve no matter what. The high goal being something very aspirational, but not necessarily unachievable. The high goal keeps me motivated. The low goal keeps me from getting disappointed and discouraged. Just a low goal or just a high goal isn't enough for me to keep tabs on the goal. Having both gamifies it for me.
Nice system 💪 I do a similar thing for habits/routines some month. So the ideal version of completion versus the "I can't be bothered today" version 😝💜
I’m so excited to see how the RPG planning pans out, I’ve been considering trying it since i love D&D and other tabletop RPGs and need all the help trying to get my neurospicy and ADHD brain to do what I want it to😂
I absolutely love the gameification! I have been tracking 'side quests' with a different meaning (because ADHD=squirrels=side quests) and this is so fun to see you do! I'm going to have to nab some of these ideas and play along with you this coming year.
The idea of cyclic planning sounds super interesting! Have you made a video about it yet? I'd love to learn more! Also, you mentioning dutch doors in connection to things spanning multiple pages is so genius, I've been struggling finding a practical use for dutch doors and this is it! :)
I talked a bit about the cyclic planning in this video which might help: ruclips.net/video/BzTuXjSBaFY/видео.html Glad the Dutch door use has sparked some ideas for you! 💜
You actually inspired me to use the "Then and Again" set up monthly back in July and I have loved having it and seeing the changes each month. Love your ideas!
I had considered trying that option for the dutch door. You've inspired me to give it a try! I want to do the beginning of the year letter as well. Love the game-ification theme, super fun. Thank you for sharing!
Settling in to this and already my jaw is dropping. The Life Gamification idea is soooo cool and I love seeing your creativity in that. Can’t wait for more on this journey!
Oh, I adore this! I think I’m going to use this as a road map for what to set up for myself with tweaks for my personal life. I have some very big tasks to accomplish in the new year and I like the idea of it all in one place and I love the idea that if the need for a new tracker arises, I can just, add it in. That’s been one of my biggest hang ups with BuJo… getting upset that a tracker is now randomly in the middle of a month. I’ve given up on every bujo ever because of this. The only thing I’ve been successful with has been my knitting journal… which I now have plans to gussy up with some of your AMAZING techniques! Sticker paper printed titles… GAME. CHANGER.
This is the video I've been waiting for! Now that your yearly set up is posted I feel like I'm safe to really dive into fully planning mine. First year with a yearly and daily journal separate
Haha glad that you've got the all clear to do your setup now 😂 Let me know how you end up getting on with having the yearly and daily journal separate though! 💜
Oh this is so much fun and so much goodness. This would make a lovely gift for my daughter this holiday that she might actually enjoy and use. Thank you for the ideas
I love seeing your new year videos. It's so satisfying to see the simple yet beautiful style in this one. There are so many things in here that I wanna try! I love the gamification and maybe character stats would be a good fit for me. I'm definitely gonna write a letter too for the end of next year and there's so much more I wanna try!
I love the 'Letting go of' section! I have something similar simply called 'To don't' 😅🤣 It has helped me quite a lot, but I'm still very curious and open to new ideas and perspectives, bc I could still embrace the concept more to help my daily life and (adhd) brain even more hehe. So if it makes sense to you, I would b happy to watch a video when you have had time to have had some experience with that section, and share it with us! 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Also love the theme, an good for you to learn more into the wobbly-not-perfectly-ruled-out approach 🩷💜💃🏽🥳
I was thinking of doing a dnd theme already so this will be almost my exact starting point for my journal. I benefit from having an all in one spot journal so I will just put some of these at the front of my everyday journal. Totally going to copy the skills categories as well that’s perfect
Loved the new set up. I am very much interested in considering it for myself. Love the decorations and the names you chose. I also found I could not come up with 101 things for this year and had already decided to change to the 52 things, but I also want to include a "Tarot-A-Day" spread, as I would like to concentrate on my divinity practices. Here's to life continuing to get better in 2025 for everyone.
Yeah I think that 52 will help me be more intentional about what I'm picking to put on the list and more mindful about actually doing them 👌 Cool idea with the Tarot-a-day 😄
Really beautiful set up - love the design! I want to try it for March 2025 and use violet instead of the burgundy. Thanks so much for your awesome inspiration!
LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this video! Your approach to planning is so unique, I would never have imagined it. Love the font used and as a personal tidbit, loved the first background music you used (it's a classical instrumental from my country). And finally, loved the new words used - Caddiwompus and skewiff (please share how you imagine their spellings so that i can make note) PS: All wizards that have previously seen a sneak peak of this setup in a live say HI!
Glad you enjoyed the setup and video! 😄💜 I believe it’s usually spelled cattywampus but I pronounce it more like caddywompus 😝 Skewwhiff is the other one 👌
Thanks! 😄💜 yeah picking the yearly themes can feel daunting 😂 spent a looooot of time yesterday trying to figure out one for my everyday journal setup 😅
I really loved my Franklin planner but I end up not being able to good at picking realistic goals. Start using GTD which works a little better. You mentioned using these together. I am curious how that looks.
I’ve not actually used the Franklin Planner before but they look interesting! I’ve picked up some tools from GTD over the years but I’m yet to actually read it 😝 on my list for next year though!
I was so excited when you said in a past video that you were thinking of a gamification thing for 2025, and I've been holding my breath waiting for this video! I recently dipped my toes back into the idea of gamification of goals after letting it go for a couple of years. I had already decided that I would be using it as a theme for 2025. Now I'm going to shamelessly use what you've made 😅 The colours and style are absolutely gorgeous!
I would definitely like to learn more about your gamification system. I am a huge DnD nerd so finding a way to use that to help me get my goals done would be amazing. 💗
Really loving the theme here, this looks like a really fun way to bring some fresh enjoyment into using these layouts. Kind of tempted now to do something similar with my yearly setups for next year, but before that I'll actually have to decide if I'll start a yearly collections journal or keep them at the front of my every day journal. 😆
Haha yeah 😂 that’d be an important first step 👏 now that I’m several years into the yearly collections journal, it’s nice to have all these layouts in one place 💜
@@JashiiCorrin That's my thinking too, I really hated migrating the year long collectins in July to a new journal. Last year when I started bujoing I used one journal in the entire year, but this time I used two and I think a yearly collections journal would benefit me.
I think this is my favorite start of year set up of yours that I've seen so far! I'm really looking forward to more 2025 set up videos. You also reminded me that i meant to order those paint pens lol. As for spreads that I'm considering using, I don't have any picked out right now. I'm going to try a sterling ink planner for next year, which is a major change to what I've been using (A&O). I know I need to start looking at ideas for it but there's a lot of life stuff that is going to change in the next couple weeks for me, and it is too hard to determine what I will need for spring semester in uni at this time. Do you only watch bujo videos on youtube (in the planning sphere) or do you enjoy watching other creators that use different planning systems?
I mainly just watched bullet journal content, but as some of my favourite creators have been trying new planners, I still just watch their stuff 😛 I’d be curious to check out some content from other planning styles though, but I find it tricky to find creators who are sharing more about ways they use their planner rather than how they decorate their planner if that makes sense 🤔 no shade at all! Decoration is important for me too, it’s just that I’m mainly looking for new ideas of how I can use my journal, set things up, try new layouts, etc 😊💜
This video was amazing to watch and i have several ideas so im going to have to watch it again. This past year had me really thinking on setting up a long term collections journal but I could only think of a handful of things (birthdays and places i want to go...)...but if i do a yearly collections journal and put those two lists in the back....now I have lots more things LOL - but first....what journal do I want to use 😂😂 Thanks for all the inspiration!
I've decided that instead of a journal (Which I'm also gonna use) I wanna make a little game in the RPG maker to make my rewards even more interesting and fun. It's gonna be a lot of work considering I only have a month ahead to set up at least the first stage, but I'm really excited to try anyway.
Jeshii, Ive been watching your videos for months now and every single one of them makes me think how beautiful your handwriting is. Do you have any videos or courses teaching how to do your handwriting?
This theme is so amazing 🧡 I haven't used real themes since 2023. Last year I had a Google Sheet spit out random Tombow colours for me, this year I went with the rainbow colours and next year the aforementioned Google Sheet will give me random Mildliner colours that I have to use. This is how I make sure that I appreciate all my pens.
Soo what is the difference (for you) between The 51 things and the Someday maybe list? That the 51s are more clear? Tasks vs ideas to make into tasks? Fun things vs boring things?
The 52 things are like mini-goals and fun things. The someday maybe list is more for random projects that feel more “admin”esque 😛 it’s a blurry line, that’s for sure 😂

Haha go forth and use whichever parts you want! 😄 Cool that you were also going with gamification for the year ahead 🥳
Brilliant! You are so creative! I always look forward to your videos, such an inspiration! 💜
Aww thank-you 😄💜 I’m glad you enjoy the videos!
Omg I love the font and medieval vibe & xp accumulation
Glad you liked it! 😄💜
I love your headers in this one! The whole theme looks so fun!
Thanks! 💜 thought the lettering style matched the theme well 😄
Omg. I’m 💯 doing this. I just started reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series and it’s perfect for it, thank you so much!
Glad it sparked some inspiration! 😄💜
So fun!!! I love this. I set up an entire start of journal setup using Stardew Valley mechanics one year and I had so much fun with it.
Oh that sounds cool as heck 👏💜
I never thought of adding one before, but I really enjoy the idea of adding a homestead upgrade spread to my journal. Thanks for the cool idea 😊
Most welcome! I've found it useful this year 😄💜
Love the gamification! So unique and fun. 🙂
Thanks, glad you like it! 😄💜
I would definitely like to learn more about your gamification system. I am a huge DnD nerd so finding a way to use that to help me get my goals done would be amazing. 💗
Glad you’re interested in it! 😄💜 that explanation video will be out at the start of December me thinks 🤔
25 instances of $250 is still high, but more realistic. And keeps with the "25" feel.
Eh, I’ma aim high 😛 might get me to think about how I can cut back on unnecessary spending more 🤔
@@JashiiCorrin But... but.... the notebook rainbow! 😂
physically jumped for joy seeing the rpg theme
great work!!!
Aww yay! Thanks 😄💜
Love this theme, very excited to watch your video on the life gamification 🥰
Thanks! 😄 glad you're looking forward to it 🥳
I think this is my favorite start of year set up of yours that I've seen so far!
Love the gamification idea. Very cool.
Glad you like it! 😄💜
This has made me so excited to start mine for 2025! ❤
Aww yay! 💜 Glad you're pumped 😄
This video was amazing to watch and i have several ideas so im going to have to watch it again.
This past year had me really thinking on setting up a long term collections journal but I could only think of a handful of things (birthdays and places i want to go...)...but if i do a yearly collections journal and put those two lists in the back....now I have lots more things LOL - but first....what journal do I want to use 😂😂
Thanks for all the inspiration!
Cool idea to combine them! Working front-to-back for one and then back-to-front for the other is a great idea too 👌💜
Wow. This was creatively refreshing to watch.
Glad you liked it! 😄💜
I've decided that instead of a journal (Which I'm also gonna use) I wanna make a little game in the RPG maker to make my rewards even more interesting and fun. It's gonna be a lot of work considering I only have a month ahead to set up at least the first stage, but I'm really excited to try anyway.
Such a cool theme! I maybe would’ve gone with “past and current saves” for past and present if it fit
Haha that’s a cool name for it 😄
This is so creative and fun! Made me smile so much :)
Glad you enjoyed it 😄💜
Wow! You are incredibly creative
Thanks! 😄💜
I watch this set up and wonder how often do you need a new Tombow marker?
😂 more often than some, that’s for sure. 990 and N89 are the ones I have to replace most regularly 👌
As a D&D nerd, i adore this theme!
Aww yay! 💜 glad you like it 😄
That's genius ! I'm a french writer and a gamer. It will be perfect for me. Thx so much ! Kisses from France
Glad you liked it! 😄💜 best wishes from New Zealand! 🥳
This is so creative! And beautiful!
Aww thank-you! 💜🥰
I love this ! Thank you so much I’ve always wanted new ideas i am gonna try that, lovely!
Glad you liked it! 😄💜
Jeshii, Ive been watching your videos for months now and every single one of them makes me think how beautiful your handwriting is. Do you have any videos or courses teaching how to do your handwriting?
My regular everyday printing? Nothing about that, but we do have some lettering videos on the channel 😊💜
love the idea of gamifying your life!
I'm super keen on it, haha 😛 Think it'll be a lot of fun!
You are truly an inspiration 💜
Thanks! Glad you get ideas from the content 😄💜
I love this idea for the theme I might even try this myself!❤😊
Heck yeah, go for it! 💪🥳
I love this Life Quest theme!
Thanks! 😄💜
This theme is so amazing 🧡
I haven't used real themes since 2023.
Last year I had a Google Sheet spit out random Tombow colours for me, this year I went with the rainbow colours and next year the aforementioned Google Sheet will give me random Mildliner colours that I have to use.
This is how I make sure that I appreciate all my pens.
That’s a cool way to do it! 💜 might try a challenge setup with that 🤔
This is so beautiful!
Thanks! 😄💜
I love D&D and think this is a great idea!!
Thanks! I’ve become quite curious about D&D recently 🤔 looks like it’d be a great hobby 👏
Ahh I’m so excited to watch this. 😊 I love your ideas and creativity! ❤
Hope you enjoyed it 😄💜
This is bloody brilliant! I love it! 😃
Thanks! 😄💜 Glad you liked it!
I love the dutch door tip! Thanks
Most welcome! 💜 hope it proves useful for people 🤞
Your videos are so beautiful and fun to watch
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy them 💜
I did a monthly version of past v present in my yearly collections this year.
I really like the idea of that 👏💜
Such a fun idea and beautiful setup 😍☺️🙈
Thanks! Glad you liked it 😄💜
I loved this setup!
Aww yay! 💜 Glad you liked it! 😄
This is so fun! Love it!
Thanks Torey! 😄💜
Come for the great ideas, stay for the “cattywampus”
Haha 😂 glad you like that one!
LOVE THIS IDEA!
Glad you liked it! 😄💜
I'm working on my 25 in 25 list...I am struggling to figure out how you did the Dutch doors. specifically, how did you glue together, all seven pages?
Such a fun set up!
Thanks! 😄💜
I love this theme!
Thanks! 😄💜 Glad you liked it 🥰
SO FUN!!!!
Thanks! 😄💜
Love the setup and that you are having fun gamifying it. You should add a wizard hat onto a page or two since you are the wizard pal. ;)
Haha 😂 would make for a good addition! 💜
What kind of sticker paper do you use? :) love this set up, I wanna use something similar in my reading journal!!
I use the Avery full sheet sticker labels 😊 Like this one: amzn.to/3LskazK
(But I get mine in A4 from Office Max Australia 😛 )
I absolutely want to do a letter to me! 😍 loved this!
Glad you liked the idea! 💜 it is really fun to look back and see what you wrote to yourself in prior years if you keep them as well 💪
awwwww😢 I was so looking forward to you levelling up in aggression 😂😂
Haha 😂 Vogel didn’t think he’d like that 😝
fantasy and gamification - awesoooome :D
Haha glad you liked it! 😄
So excited
Haha yay! 💜 hope you enjoyed the setup 😄
