- Bob has since passed away but I have received requests from some of his friends to upload this video. This was twenty years ago and about 5 weeks after September 11. The shot of the smoking tire that opens this video was shot with a spy camera bought on the internet. GoPro didn't come into being until 2002.

Please let me know what happened to Bob. I couldn't find any info on the net. I would like to include some info in the description section of the video.
Hello: Thanks Chuck !! Passed much to young.. I know he felt the Thrill when he hit the throttle. Few people ever get that feel !!! Have a good one man..
Well said!
👀 Cool car & story. • Cheers from the Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂
Yes you found it!!
I know this car was last sold at classic car studios aka speed is the new black in St. Louis but motor has been changed and wheels have been changed.
Thanks for the info.
I KNEW A GUY WHO WAS OBSESSED WITH THAT CAR BACK IN 66.........NOW I'M OBSESSED WITH GETTING EV'S TO WORK TO REPLACE ICE CARS. AND A RUN OF THE MILL TESLA WOULD LEAVE THAT NOVA IN THE FRIKIN DUST, BUT I'VE ALWAYS HAD A REVERENCE FOR THAT CAR, BECAUSE THAT GUY WAS SO INTO IT, HE KNEW ALL THE SPECS AND BELIEVED IT WOULD BEAT ALL THE OTHER CARS AND THAT IT HAD THE MOST POTENTIAL OF ALL THE OTHER MUSCLE CARS OF THAT ERA..........
I WOUND UP BUYING SOME FANCY HOTROD, IT WAS FUN, BUT I WASN'T OBSESSED WITH IT LIKE THAT GUY WAS FOR THE CHEVY NOVA, THE STONES WERE ON TOP BACK IN THAT YEAR, A FEW OF THEM HAVE DIED SINCE THEN AND THEY ALL LOOK LIKE THEY'RE NEAR DEATH AND SOUND TIRED..........
THIS WAS BACK IN CALIF, I USED TO DRIVE DOWN THE HIGHWAYS AT 140 MPH.......NOW THEY'RE PARKING LOTS AND THE STATE IS GOING TO FRIKIN HELL.........THIS CAN'T GET MUCH WORSE............I'LL NEVER FORGET THE WAY THAT GUY LOVED THE CHEVY NOVA
Very cool, even by today's standards
I'm not very informed on Pro Street cars, is there a big difference with today's examples?
@@RideswithChuck Not really, but it shows that the quality was there even this long ago. Neat car for sure.
