Jon Boat Build Out 3 - Flooring

We got the Jon boat cleaned and painted. Next step in the process was flooring. We cut flooring for the front and rear floor space. The front flooring will serve as a base for the storage space under the casting deck which we cut to cover the front and middle row of bench seats. We also added support beams for the casting deck and spaced them so we could add cutouts for two hatch access doors and a foot pedal tray for a trolling motor. We purchased some cool EVA foam decking to sit on top of the flooring and will put together a video with its installation. We also did some experimentation on wood preparation for the decking and weatherproofing. It was pretty interesting, so keep an eye out for our fourth installment of this build.
