It isn't that crazy. Women tend to care more about emotional cheating, and men tend to care more about physical cheating.
Look at it from an evolutionary perspective. Women don't want to get stuck alone with a baby, so they don't want their partner to fall for someone else. Men want to ensure that the child belongs to them, so they don't want their partner being physical with someone else.

Sex without any emotions involved is impossible because arousal requires an emotion because sexual arousal is in itself an emotion and it doesn't matter if it's induced through of love or fear! without any sort of emotion you will not be able to perform (get it up hard or get wet to make penetration possible)

Sex work is kinda a widely accepted thing in Japan. Plus, since she doesn’t like to do that type of stuff and won’t be able to satisfy that part of the male mind if he feels the need to find other means to satisfy it in stuff like that then it’s understandable (though admittedly still weird from my american mindset). There’s absolutely no emotional connection, it’s purely physical, carnal desire and business. But if it’s taking time to meet alone with someone outside of that that she doesn’t know then she’s afraid it might be serious, hence the feeling of being cheated.
And she basically admits to being a 2d-con when it comes to ecchi stuff so if she’s in a relationship it seems like it’d be purely emotional (which is cute and wholesome in its own right).

Nah what she's saying makes sense if you think from her perspective, think about it. She said she's not into physical stuff, so if she had a boyfriend a physical relationship wouldn't be possible. Therefore she doesn't care how his needs are met because she understands that she can't provide that, and she doesn't value that anyway.
In contrast she openly admits to being very emotionally insecure, that's what she values and what she wants to provide, so something based in emotions like sharing a meal with another woman is what would actually hurt her and be viewed as a betrayal.
i don't know if its me getting too old to understand the world now, but being in a relationship used to mean you're with that person for the total package, not just for the emotional or physical or some mix of the two. it just sounds like people want to have their cake and eat it too which imo is just selfish and lazy.
