SHINee is always 5 but the reason there are now 4 is that Jonghyun passed away. At the end of Hard there are only 3 because Onew went on a health hiatus and could not finish filming.

Thank you for this reaction. SHINee can't be boxed into one genre. Their songs are really diverse as they are very experimental with their music. From 2008-present they have stayed relevant. Each member has their solo careers too. Trivia as well: they started the dance practice trend in kpop that we know today. It started when they released Lucifer dance practice publicly. It also inspired other groups to have more complex and difficult choreo in their performances.
For recommendation, their debut song Replay released in 2008 (they were just between 14-18 yrs old at that time) is a must watch.

Thanks for reacting to shinee!!! As others said they are extremely diverse in their music as they were started as SM’s experimental group. I think you should react to Juice the performance video, view and married to the music next. They are also amazing live, if you check out the Sherlock swc performance and the live performance of excuse me miss you won’t be disappointed!

A group name INFINITE & SHiNEE i feel were some of the few first groups to advance very detailed choreography in k-pop...i stanned them hard for this quality...Taemin the youngest member had a very prominent music career i feel...many new idols look up to him & shinee....i enjoy when u check out old groups😊...

This was great, you picked a good selection! For dance practises, SHINee's Lucifer dance practise went viral and that's why they have become a standard part of kpop promotions today so it's worth checking that one out given it represents a turning point in the history of the genre! Otherwise, all of Taemin and Key's dance practises are incredible, I'd recommend Key's Villain and Taemin's Advice as good places to start! Given your taste I also think you would enjoy their live performance of Alive and their performance video for Juice

SHINee is always FIVE, no matter how many are on stage. Jonghyun is forever there in spirit, since he tragically left this world in 2017. Jinki (Leader, stage name Onew) was missing from part of the HARD video due to being on a health hiatus. Oddly enough, you chose another video in which he was injured, which was why he was sitting and only four were dancing in “1 of 1”. Jinki is still on hiatus and the bogoshipda is REAL, but my primary wish and concern is forever his health and happiness and I’ll wait as long as he needs.
Lucifer might look simple, but it's actually STILL considered to be one of the hardest choreographies in K-pop. It's also the song that made the general public consider K-pop to be an actual art and started the trend of hard choreo in K-pop...

SHINee’s discography is soooo vast and sooogood, from their Korean to Japanese, from group to solos, From 2008 to now.
Also, as you already know SHINee got 5 members, and they still do now 💕. The members always say that as well. 🥰

Fun fact: Lucifer was recently named #16 by Rolling Stones on their list of the 100 Greatest Songs in the History of Korean Music. Also, the Dance Practice for LUCIFER is what kickstarted dance practices being popular. Besides being at the iconic SM cloud-backed practice room, there’s Taemin’s iconic trippy t-shirt and the toilet paper marker. LOL.
Lucifer was the first time SHINee was given significant input into the creative direction of their album, from music to styling. Obviously, they did well-they helped change the public’s perception of idols and brought KPOP even further into the global market. In fact, it charted on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart for 57 weeks.
Another fun fact about “Lucifer” - it was played during a fight scene in the 13th episode of the third season of the TV series Lucifer: ruclips.net/video/-LDFcq49YFQ/видео.html (a cut of the scene).
