The Power Spine function reduces the flex like a traditional flex adjuster?

The crack below where it says power spine has about a cm of forward play when I flex the boot by hand but it seems to be a little too easy is this a normal occurrence or do I have an issue with my boot that somebody may know a little more of specifically, PS I am never going to sure foot again. Definitely going to another boot fitter but any information in the meantime would be appreciated.
