@@mariegamble3053 that's true, there's signs in the Broadwater on the Gold Coast too. But they don't usually swim far and not usually right across an open Bay. It was obviously one of those that hang out at the campground, it just couldn't find a way out :)
Nothing wrong with that roo. He's just trying to do what most of us do who live around there. That is avoid the obnoxious loud mouth tourists who swarm around the place. All in their obscene diesel belching four wheel drives that they will constantly stop in the centre of the road so that they can enjoy the view. Or they will drive at you the wrong way down a one way street, with the implied attitude that they are on holidays so rules do not apply to them. As they say in Byron Bay , have a nice day, somewhere else. PLEASE.
They do swim. Up here in Qld, I've seen them swim over to Frazer Island.
