Whoever created this video is lying, making it seem like there's innocent people in CECOT there's no such thing, everyone there had a trial and were convicted. the rest of the gang members who are still being processed are housed in a different prison, El Salvador has many prisons because crime was very rampant over there. I know cause my family still lives there. Also the so called protest for human rights are the family of the gang members, no one else is defending this trash. There was a british reporter who bukele told to stop telling him how to run his country. The west and U.K. are always very nosey when it comes to this, were was this reporter when the u.s. and britain were committing crimes against iraqui & afghan citizens. Hypocrites

The same faults you find with this prison is in every prison worldwide. And ii's always been the same for centuries. The leader has done a great job in stopping violence in the country where the citizens human rights were being robbed of them. Maybe patience and time to see how well it goes. But you won't find perfection in any countries prison system.

Sorry, not sorry. Lived in San Salvador for 3 years - in a gated and walled community with heavily armed guards posted around the entire perimeter with three roving truck patrols 24×7.

It's with sadness that people live in a country where the Government doesn't care for them and they end up in these gangs. But each person has to decide within themselves how they make choices and accept the consequences of those choices. The government had to take drastic steps to fight the violence that IMHO, are in part, a cause of that violence. This type of imprisonment is needed instead of catering weight rooms to make criminals stronger and letting them have luxuries like the prisons here in America.

I remember when MS first hit Los Angeles in 1984 as stoner's I was in juvenile hall with a couple of them,they done came along way since then.
8 buildings containing 32 cells. Each cell holds 100 prisoners. That’s 25,600 prisoners. Where are you getting 40,000 from?
