- In this video I’m combining a Dutch pour with a balloon dip. It’s my first ever balloon dip and I’m thrilled with the results!
For this pour, I've used Liquitex basics acrylic paints and Brustro acrylics mixed with just water. I have kept the consistency a bit thicker than my Dutch pours. Only in the base white, I’ve added floetrol, 2 parts paint, 1 part floetrol thinned with some water to get to the same consistency.

Do remember to keep it slightly thicker!
Colors- Titanium white (liquitex) as base. Top colors are deep violet (liquitex), cadmium yellow deep hue (liquitex), fluorescent pink (liquitex), mid green (Brustro) & pthalo green (Brustro)

This is awe-inspiring. I love it !!
I watched another video where the artist had another canvase ready to imprint the balloon onto after dipping into the puddle on the canvases. It worked out beautifully. Now she has two paintings that kinda emulate each other !! You could also touch the balloon onto a plastic surface and make skins to ues any where.
Touching it twice without cleaning the balloon is perfect too. I absolutely love it !!!!😊

Have a small canvas prepared to put the pretty dips on instead of wiping them off. They are so pretty with all the pretty balloon dips on them.

Fantastic painting! You could also press the paint that the balloon pulls off, onto another smaller canvas. Depending on how many times you do this, and how many colors get pulled in, it could look like an awesome collection of flowers. That way you're not losing as much of the paint when you wipe the balloon off.

a golden tip: instead of a balloon,
try a plastic bag of about 3 liters and fill it with about half to 3/4 liters of water.
Use a clamp to keep the bag closed and make sure the tips of the bag come together BEFORE you clamp them, the bag of water should be round like a balloon, then you will get effects that are EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL than the balloon.

Maybe try blowing with a straw.
I love the flowers. Maybe to preserve the design from the balloon.. Maybe you can have a dry canvas or something to print it on. The last one would have been beautiful as a single flower!

Instead of wiping off the balloon, simply press it onto another canvas beside you. Your balloon press will create two beautiful paintings
Or even take a picture of the balloon. So beautiful!!

Absolutely beautiful. I use the balloon paint onto cards. It makes beautiful small pictures that I frame. You could even put ut on blank cards and make birthday cards. No waste..thank you for sharing. 😊
