- The New GTA 5 Update Is Here (Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC) and with this update, there were a bunch of new features (Bounty Hunter Business / Bail office , New cop cars and Dispatch missions etc.) BUT Rockstar scared half of the community with one little thing they did in this new GTA 5 Online update. Did you notice this from the new Bottom Dollar Bounties GTA Online Update ?

When this message popped up, the first thing i thought was, wtf? Wait, no, hold up, did i just get banned? No i wouldn’t have got banned surely, shit, so i closed the app and restarted since i was shitting myself, when i was loading in the second time i was so nervous like cockstar plz dont ban me i beg u, ive done nothing wrong, then i loaded into a session and i was like thank fuck for that! Mfs nearly gave me a heart attack!

This happened me some time ago it made me so sad, i just sat there staring at the text för like 5 minutes then i pressed X and i was not banned i got so happy

this was even worse on PC cause I literally couldn't join a public lobby without getting money dropped on me within the first 30 seconds just a couple days ago, if I was on console I wouldn't of had that half a second of worry lol.

I remember when I first got a message rewarding me with money back in 2013/14, I was terrified I got caught and unplugged my Xbox. Didn’t play for days. When I put it back on I felt like a right numpty.

If you get a message with this particular line closer to the end of it, I feel that is when it'll become a bigger matter: I do believe that Rockstar will eventually close Grand Theft Auto V: Online's servers or at least let players know when there will not be any more updates, and at that time I wouldn't be surprised if there is a prompt after logging in that says something to the effect of "This is the final version of the product; it will not get any new content, but security updates will still be delivered occasionally to improve your protection. Thank you for playing Grand Theft Auto: Online."; once we witness this, then the time will have finally come that we can say that what is supposed to be the prequel to the events of V (Retail)'s Main Campaign has properly come to a close, wishfully Online will eventually get its own proper Offline Edition as a means to bring in players who want to enjoy its separate unique campaigns but don't want the bloat and risks of the servers (this is why I have personally never played it since its debut; well, that and I still need to play all of IV and Chinatown Wars first) and in the same nature as to how some of those at Square Enix want to deliver a proper OE for Final Fantasy XI and potentially XIV it will deliver a substantial difference to keep these experiences alive well after their original tenure.

When I logged back online after a few month long break I was about to go on a permanent break once I saw that, I thought I had lost everything I had. All the hours grinding missions and doing heists to get to where I was without a single dollar spent on cards.
My whole experience & memories of the game flashed before my eyes seeing that text. 🤣

Survivals are also screwed as you cant move anything with the atomizer as it will go back to its original place at the beginning of every round. So no one will playing survivals anymore. Not that many care for survivals a majority of us do.
That has happened to me a couple of times before with no ban so didn't even think twice about it, feel bad for a someone that grinded to like level 1000 10 billion in the bank and had a heart attack because he's never seen that screen before😂

My cousin bought a modded account only for it to get banned a few days later. What a waste especially with it being GTA5.
I thought my account was reset to level 1.. and as online was loading, I'm debating myself that I didn't have to go through character creation or selection, so should be okay.. then I'd point out to myself: "What if it's the same character, but still reset to level 1?".. felt like the longest loading screen since I switched to a SSD install..
