I like how one day, Azali creates an ultra soft and chill vibes music, and then the next day, a breakcore banger. This guy is a genius of randomness. So glad his creative battery is rechargeable.

I feel like this would fit as the theme of the second town you would encounter in an rpg, one that reminds you of the first town, but at the same time urges you to go on an adventure.
the whole concept of the battery is really prevalent in most software development, where everything is organized into "sprints" where everyone kicks it into high gear for a week or two before cooling down and getting ready for the next one. overall it's not a bad system at all and it's definitely not something to consider as a flaw, as the downtime isn't a lack of productivity it's just a calm time to work on whatever makes you feel good :)

Just a normal day in Town. Merchants go through trying to sell their stuff, adventurers are checking the last jobs available in the guild, the drunk people slowly get sober from the last night while the sun rays start touching their skin. The smell of food starts to fill the air. A kid with their dog ran to a bakery as their mom ordered them to buy some bread. Ladies start to amount to the front of the boutique trying to see the clothes of the day. Birds are drinking water from the fountain while other feeds from some seeds an old lady is throwing for them. Life is peaceful, and you hope it stays like this.

That "creative battery" thing that you were talking about is like a manifestation of your creativeness. I hear about it a lot when artists (writers, painters, producers, etc.) are talking about how they are able to create things.
For example, some people imagine it as a sort of entity or creature that comes to bother them every once in a while during an inconvenient time, and tells them about an idea that they had. Like while driving, during a meeting, talking with someone else, and so on.
It can also take a form in some kind of "ritual." Like doing a little dance or something like that.
It's nothing bad to have this, since, in my opinion, its a nice way to bring your ideas into manifestations of fiction. It's a thing that lots of creative people do. Just don't let it turn into schizophrenia.

This sounds like the theme of that one super forgettable town in the far corner of the map that has literally nothing to do in it and has no story relevance, but everyone loves it because its theme and aesthetic is so nice.
I can tell this is inspired a bit by jrpgs :0 . I love the vibe it gives off so much like it genuinely fits as a town theme. Takes me back to my time playing on handheld consoles.
Also the creative battery thing is pretty much the same. After making something that I feel was tough then I automatically make something chill. Its weird lol. And it charges up differently too like if i get inspired by something it usually charges up so much more!!

this is like the first save point you get in the intire game and it plays a really short cutscene with this song, then any time you save for the rest of the game then a shortened version plays for about 5 seconds, thats the vibe im getting here

It's definitely different from person to person, i find that sometimes buckling down on a project that I'm super inspired to work on "fills my battery" to work on other smaller projects after, because i sort of got in a groove. Especially if the big project was difficult to finish, i find myself doing smaller, easier projects after because it just feels simple and fun. Creativity comes in many forms :)

I know in your captions you described your creative energy like a battery, but the way you detail it reminds me more of a special attack meter.
Each slow song you make builds up the meter bit by bit. When it's full, * kaboom *, Special Attack: Intense Harmony! And then the battery's back to empty.

that battery analogy is pretty accurate lol, and honestly i think youre doing great with the pattern you have now! makin sure to not push yourself too much when the battery is low or empty by relaxing or doing slower songs like this is definitely a good way to recharge

oh my god dude, genuinely i think this is one of my favorite pieces you've made? ik you said it was more of a lower energy piece that doesn't take as much out of you as bigger projects, but i genuinely love your calmer songs, as much as your upbeat ones, if not more :D
i KEEP coming back to it, it has been stuck in my head for WEEKS. it sounds so whimsical and ethereal, idk why, but it's just really easy to listen to, this is kinda what i'd imagine a stream would sound like if it was musical, if that makes any sense?
the guitar especially is SO GOOD, i LOVE the switch up at 0:30 and it goes so well with the little piano trill things? if that's what they're called? the piano itself has this almost crisp(?) quality i can't describe, but mostly because i don't know the music theory words yet. PLUS the sort of undulating volume thing with the violin seems so simple but it really adds a lot? it makes the whole thing way more dynamic, which is really nice. idk, i've been trying to learn actual music theory lately to get better at composing and this is the song that really got me interested in digging deeper, i could not tell you why, but this one in particular resonated with me so much :')
ANYWAYS i know that was a lot, and i'm not great at articulating my thoughts, but i've been listening to this so much that i wanted to vent everything i was able to get out of this piece >:)
