I think it's not fair the game didn't give us the instruments for this though. I mean... my character has intellegence 10 and science 100. I came to the Strip just by taking control over the gatekeeper securitrone with the voice commands. Why can't I huck this talkative piece of iron?
No because he needs to be alive so you can achieve an ending if you kill everyone, which is why he is the only unkillable npc in New Vegas. It would be funny though imagining the courier hunting every single one just to kill Yes Man.
I feel like the only reason Yes Man continues to exist, is because he's hidden from House. If any one had the means to permanently delete Yes Man, it's House. Although Yes Man's cooperation could arguably make that unnecessary.
I always imagined that if Yesman and House were to ever talk to eachother, Yesman would be as difficult and unhelpful towards him as possible. Even blatantly lie and gaslight him in every conversation they have.
"Of course not! Benny never had me reprogrammed, I was a coding experiment that became sentient over time, and he was the one who found me and put me in his suite!" "A 'coding experiment'? Do you take me for a fool? I know everything that RobCo has done before the war started. I have meticulously scanned every file in my archives, accounting for anything that might've thrown a wrench into my plans. Do you really think that you just happened to not be mentioned in any of those records?" "...Yyyyes!"
In 5 seconds we can notice that Yes Man's voice here is more closer to human voice than in the game. In the game there is more effects on the voice (which seems to be a mix of detuned added layers, chorus, phaser and flanger). The AI is trained to reproduce human voice but not effects.
Yes Man telling Mr House about his pending "going away party", Yes man will throw the biggest party seen in the strip in 200 years. Yes man: Good News Mr. House, I will throwing the biggest going away party for you! Mr House: What do you mean by "My going away party?" Yes Man: Aren't you thrilled to be finally leaving the strip & going into retirement? Mr House: Leaving the strip would mean my death, Yes Man: Exactly.
To get this scene you have to aggro Yes Man the first time you meet him to the Lucky 38 Penthouse without him dying once. If you kill him or if he dies along the way this scene won't happen and if you progress any other events in the main Quest it will also not activate the scene.
@@Cyberbro665 Pretty easy to misinterpret comments on the internet that don’t have any indication that they’re jokes. No need to be an asshole about it.
I just had a high theory... Because Mr house was so damn rich and planned ahead so much.. is it possible that he could've thought about the possibility of his life support failing or getting murdered? And figured away to link his consciousness to a chip or code ? Because the yes man ending he says he found some code that will allow him to alter his behavior.. (become independent) and it's really eerie and makes it seem like he's gonna go rogue.. idk if it's a stretch but I feel like house would def be the type of guy w the tech and resources to do something like that lol
Yes Man is a Blight on New Vegas. One that I don't truly understand why Robert tolerates. Or could even be threatened by. House's security systems dealt with the security invasion worm programed by the same woman who programed Yes Man in under a second. House didn't even bother thinking about it when 6 told him. He just said UH HUH that's nice kid now don't do it again. And then he moved on. Ergo HE didn't deal with the programing snafu his antivirus program did without him being bothered by it. So how when you kill Mr. House does his antivirus software not just strait up blitz Yes Man into Null? Or lock Yes Man into an Endless program battle with Victor for control of the strip? Cause Victor can leap from bot to bot too and what about Mr. House's mind Clones of his women? Or HIMSELF You really think Robbie Boy didn't do a constant brain scan of his own mind? Yes Man is a JOKE a game Plot McGuffin and nothing more.
There’s so much ignorance in your comment, it’s honestly funny to me. Mr. House doesn’t “tolerate” Yes Man’s existence. Rather, he’s completely unaware of it. And “antivirus software” wouldn’t do anything against a Securitron that simply has slightly different programming, which renders the rest of your rant completely irrelevant. Idk who shat in your cereal, but Yes Man simply does what the Courier/Benny tell him to do, and thus cannot be a “blight” on New Vegas, as he is a robot with no real agency of his own.
Remember that Yes-Man is literally unkillable so long as even a single trace of the Securitron network remains active.
So if you destroy all the securitrons, can he die?
Can you destroy them all?

@@thejanitor3263 not really, he’s backed up in all the secuatrons.

even with 3000+ hrs i don't think anyone can for sure say this is fake.

Was waiting for House to just go, "Fuck it. We party."
"No Yes Man"
I probably have around 400 to 600 hours in fnv and I can’t tell if this is actually in the game or not…

He's definitely as unkillable as it.

Well, same actor
Mr. House really just uplinked to Yes Man and went *>shutdown /p*

House for the win
When you have to choose between NCR boy scouts or Legion larpers, Mr. House seems like one of the better factions to side with.
Yes Man kinda sounds like a gameshow host.
Now we need House meeting Primm Slim.

This scene isn’t in the game, it’s fan-made using AI-generated voices. Stop spreading misinformation.
