Yes, you are crazy. Mad Maggie offers absolutely nothing for rotation and her ultimate is literally useless. Does not even break Gibbys bubble or new castles ult.
Maggie just isn't in the position to counter anything at the moment. Ramparts can merely take down whatever wall is drilled and completely negate the Q. Aforementioned Gibby bubble and Newcastle Ult are also basically untouchable. Character needs her ultimate buffed pretty badly. In my humble opinion it should be able to break any object placed on the map by a player and be unzappable by Wattson and Newcastle Ults
Cus her ult was nerfed so she doesnt provide much proper utility over other options, her tac is solid but ult and passive provide nothing, so rampart is chosen over her as someone who can counter Newcastle walls while still providing utility (her walls) in fights/defensive plays too
This will probably be the last Apex tournament I ever watch tbh. Game has been uninteresting for so long now, I gave up playing but still watch Nicewig because he’s actually made it watchable 😅
I started playing comp rather recently, it gets really interesting if it’s not the same ranked grind day in and day out. I thought I was done with apex but comp really brought me back with how fun and competitive it is
