Saw them in Irvine! Was right in the front row and got blasted by the heat from the flames. Also the only time I've almost been crushed to death by a crowd.
I saw them live last week. The show and the crowd were amazing! The whole crowd was a mosh pit for most of their set. But the venue was to small for them to do their pyro 😢 I was really disappointed about that
Yeah man! I took my Daughter and I have a feeling I’m gonna look back years from now and be glad I took her to this show hopefully she’ll feel the same way
Dude Gypsy you're a hater, he vamped up the drum solo, what are you talking about 🤦🏻🤦🏻, seeing them live was freaking awesome, put on one hell of a show
Lmao the drum lines have got so boring and basic he had to go full Tommy Lee. God I miss the glory days of this band. Now they’re just a cookie cutter metal band trying to make it on to the radio with a vocalist who can only scream and whisper rap. I guess the blind mass loves em. Idk why.
They're not trying to "make it on the radio" moron. They headline festivals in Europe such as Wacken (2019) to the tune of 100,000 people. They are FAR from a cookie cutter band, You would not be able to go to any country and hear these guys on the FM radio you idiot. SiriusXM satellite radio RARELY plays them. Tell me, what are the glory days of this band? Atlas, Deep Blue, or maybe your a Horizons guy? Or are you more hardcore--Killing With A Smile??! You sound like an Atlas guy. I love all seven of their albums. Deep Blue was my favorite, but I absolutely love Reverence, Ire (my girlfriend stole this CD), Darker Still and all of their albums. How can you not like Chronos played live a Wacken, or Darker Still played live with a string quertet, or Vice Grip where they're all skydiving into the sunset in the music video. Come on dude, grow up.
That’s your opinion. Just because you don’t like their new stuff doesn’t mean everyone else needs to hate it too. IMO most of their old stuff was very generic metal that didn’t stand out. But there are a few oldies that I love like idols and anchors and probably my favorite parkway song carrion. Personally I love their new sound it’s catchy and distinctive. That’s why they’re so much more popular now than they were back then
Alot of bands do that... its called growth... you do it for 20 plus years and yer gonna mellow out , change it up,, explore other avenues etc.. I have nothing but respect for these guys! Always have , much love for Parkway Drive.🤘
@@aaronklein7730 plus the flip side is if you don’t change your sound people get bored of it and will bitch because “all their music sounds the same”. Bands that change their sound a little bit each album they generally do better in the long run. The only band that I’ll ever call sellouts for changing their sound is bring me the horizon. They literally went from deathcore to metalcore to pop rock. Plus Oli Sykes pissed me off because he wouldn’t stop going on about how rock music is dead so they had to change their sound
Of course it's played out, but these guys are about 2 decades younger than Tommy Lee. This band is way more talented than Motley Crue. Ben, the drummer, blows Tommy away. Jeff, lead guitar, arguably has "hookier" high string melodies and anthems. I mean, I love Mick Mars, but Jeff tops him in my opinion. Winston the vocalist, there's no comparison. His poetry and lyrics are very insightful and next level preaching. Unlike most poser bands. Oh, and yeah I seen Joey Jordinson of Slipknot in his spinny cage back in California around 2009.
@abstractheory1 I've been taking lessons for 5 plus years with my daughter. I love Mick Mars. I just think that Jeff Ling has been slinging it for seven albums and still going.
Also, I've met Paul Gilbert, Dave Mustaine, Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt, tosin Abasi, and the likes and also have signature guitars to prove it
Love when we can see the drummers feet moving in a live performance. Definitely not playing to a backing track. Love it.
saw them in Toronto last month. They were absolutely amazing!!
bro was UPSIDE DOWN wasnt it insane lol northlane were great too eh?
Saw them in Irvine! Was right in the front row and got blasted by the heat from the flames. Also the only time I've almost been crushed to death by a crowd.

The guy is a really good player ….the bit however is played out….

I don’t like Motley Crue, but Jeff is not better than Mick. If you played guitar, you’d know

Also have 2 Dan Donagan signature guitars.
