I'm so proud of Bob Marley's movie doing so well. Despite critics saying the actor was not Jamaican, he represented Bob's essence so well, and halfway through, I felt like I was watching Bob. Any island would give anything to have an international movie like this by acclaimed actors representing one of their legendary musicians. Block out the noise of non-factors being upset about their lack of representation. It's all about the bigger picture preserving his legacy!

Bob Marley is an entertainment hero. Plus that political voice in interviews and songs wailing the struggles of the Africans. He was much more than one line can describe 🌍❤and is still loved.

Loved the movie, voices were dubbed over but didn't even notice, want to go see it again here in Italy.
Incorrect. The lead actor did sing and the voice was blended. Totally different from being dubbed over. The backup singers also sang, for real. Two of them are recording artists.
Hi @@DeeNevel dubbing here means that instead of the original Patois/ English combo I heard Italian when I went to see the film. The songs were kept in their original form. It was great nonetheless.
