@@VinodKumar-yp8gd i don’t think so, i’m a dentist, i’ve spent alot of time with doctors, i’ve redden alot about G6pd deficiency and met alot of people with g6pd deficiency and never saw anyone with any particular disease that caused by g6pd deficiency , the only problem u can get from g6pd is hemolytic anemia and the main thing that is causing it is fava beans ( especially in spring season eating fresh fava bean or even staying in a fava bean farm might cause hemolytic anemia ) and couple type of drugs (NSAIDs, aspirin, quinolones, nitrofurantoin, antimalaria drugs ) should be avoided, and about the test u took the g6pd test is not true most of time if i’m not wrong, you should not be worried only be careful what kind of drug ur child is taking and what kind of food he is eating.

Less than 60% of normal is mild deficiency and less than 10% of normal is severe deficiency. Yours is 6.91, if it is newborn than its about 68% of normal which means no or very mild deficiency. Infant should be followed up.
I am 27 years old and i m suffering from jaundice past nine months and my g6pd level is 6.91 out of 20.5 as read on report.my bilirubin level is always stands between 2to 4 .I have taken several medications but couldn’t get any positive results.plz plz suggest me something how to increase it and relief from jaundice.is this normal range for me
